Okay so I'm writing a final year project and my supervisor gave me guidelines to follow which include significance of study, aims and objectives, e.t.c. after going through some videos.. I've noticed that most of these things are intertwined. How do I present a good chapter without repetition of ideas.
Just write the first draft of the chapter and get someone experienced to give you feedback. True most sections of chapter one tend to repeat the study aim often at the end of the section. That's ok
I have been asked to provid a justification for choosing a single institute. I really don't have idea what to write. If you can give me advise on this will be appreciate.
Justifying the use of a single institute depends on a number of factors. Firstly your target population. if your findings will be restricted to that institute and you will not generalize your findings to other institutes. this is often the case when describing a context specific phenomena e.g mothers attending antenatal care in a given hospital or a case study of an institute or if the institute forms a unique population e.g if its disproportionately affected by the problem under study. secondly if the institute has a heterogenous population with a large catchment e.g a tertiary facility or large referral hospital. other factors such as available resources in terms of funds and time, whether you a generating a hypothesis or testing one and why you are conducting the study also come into play
