Martin, this video was so much fun to watch. I really appreciate your great attitude, and sailing skills. You take passage making to a whole new level!!
Thank you for the advice! 😀 Yes, I can steer in both directions with the remote control but It would take too long to change course and would be soon out of range. Hence, the little moment within range needs to be used to just disable the autopilot. Best regards 😀⛵⛵
Hi Martin. Not bad your eating menus👍👍👍😃 Fantastic video. Many thanks for sharing your great adventures. I own a BV33, and you maje me dream. Ciao Martin
Great Video Martin. I learned a lot about MOB (mainly, don't go overboard! 😀). O boy those black fenders disappeared fast! Great to see the dolphins following you in. Well done. 😀
Hi Martin & Klaus. Without any doubt one of the best sailing videos I have watched. Amazing sailing, fantastic food, Dolphins, jumping Whale and great to see the MOB trials. Thank you Martin so much for sharing this great journey. All my best, Paul.
Interesting testing out your MOB self rescue. In theory you'd be attached to your jackline. The obvious downsides are that you'll get beat up pretty good I'd imagine against the hull and depending on your jackline layout you may get to the back of the boat but probably would get stopped before then as your tether line could/would get caught up on a stanchion stopping your progress. What to do then? I've not figured it out. Your autopilot kill switch is good, I've not seen that. But it only works with an electric AP. I have the Hydrovane wind pilot onboard as well as a similar electric as you have and finally an simple wheel pilot (electric) as the last back up. AP kill switch would only work for one of my AP options. Best we just stay on the boat!
Great cooking Klaus..itsbrestaurant quality food on a passage.can it cant get better than that. Martin, you picked the right crew. Also passage looked nice and easy going
@@mjambo697 Thank you Martin. Keep up the good work! We sail an old Beason 31 from 1978. Our home port is Gjøl i Limfjorden. And we constantly run aground. :) It it very tricky here due to the sand and strong currents.
Martin, great video editing. Other UA-cam sailing videos do not compare. I feel like I am sailing along with you. You are an artist! I like this video with Klaus. Klaus is a good cook and every meal made my mouth water. Both of you make good ship mates, learning MOB and sharing the watch. I hope you have time to sail new destinations and continue uploading the videos. Thanks, Vincent Klotz
What a brilliant pair of guys … and lovely video too … well done
Thanks a lot 😀⛵️⛵️

I just recently discovered this channel and it's easily my favourite sailing channel to date. Great videos. :)
Many thanks and kind regards 😀⛵️⛵️
Very good video Martin, enjoyed it indeed. That trailing rope, make it 100 - 200m🤔
Thank you and best regards 😀⛵️🇲🇶
Great job Martin! All good but a little detail: 'siesta' is a Spanish only thing ;-) 1 question: can't you steer port/sb from your b&g remote?
Thank you for the advice! 😀 Yes, I can steer in both directions with the remote control but It would take too long to change course and would be soon out of range. Hence, the little moment within range needs to be used to just disable the autopilot. Best regards 😀⛵⛵

Thank you! Yes, that's what we learned as well. Main focus needs to be preventing to fall over board. Best regards 😀⛵⛵

Great video! Any idea what kind of whale that was? Pilot whale maybe? Fair winds!
Yes, they were pilot whales. I did not know the English word at that time. Thank you and fair winds 😀⛵⛵

There were just foldable bikes. I had to leave them on Martinique as they had become very rosty.
