Get back to me when vehicle prices drop by 70% otherwise I’ll just keep fixing and driving my fully paid for and depreciated vehicles. There is just far too much failure prone junk technology in new and late model used vehicles.
Idiots confuse cars with smartphones. The simpler the car the better. My Nissan hardbody hard crank down windows and no central locking or remote locking. It runs like a tank though
Lot rot is real, that interior has been baking outside in direct sun light for 2-3 years, interior temps hitting 110 degrees that is destructive, I must agree, they need to discount 30 percent or more.
Here in southern Ontario there is a dealer advertising a Toyota Camry in auto trader for a decent price but the dealer is quite a distance from me. I was preparing to get a certified cheque for the car when I decided to call first to see if it was still available. Well I was shocked to find out that the price of that car suddenly went up $2000.00 when I told them I will bring a cheque. I am not sure I can mention this dealer here but be careful people. This crazy stuff is still going on.
Here is the bottom line for me no one wants the ev crap after time has proven all the issues that come along with the cost of ownership with them . Also as far as new vehicles the average working class person can not afford or justify 800 dollar a month payments or greater for 7 years. It's just rediculous. When monthly payments go back to reasonably affordable monthly payments customers will come back.
Consumers that over paid for new vehicles. Will Lenders want half of the depression value. Many consumers will stop loan payments, because it doesn't make since to pay-off. 20 to 30 k upside down is almost impossible to have equities. Still owe another 5 or 6 years yo pay off. Auto Insurance Companies are effected. Say the vehicle is totaled your screwed, unless you nought GAP INSURANCE. IT'S not going to take that much damage to total the vehicle.
This vehicle “CRISIS” was always going to end badly for dealers. As prices continue to rise, affordability was bound to decline. It’s just stupid to buy a car you can’t afford. Many people learned that lesson the hard way. Manufacturers and dealers have slowly been paying the price for their insane greed. How did they not see this coming? I hope this “CRISIS” results in manufacturers selling vehicles directly to consumers supported by maintenance networks. This way the customer is always only dealing with the manufacturer.
Realistically people can only afford a 10k to 20k automobile. There is only one for that price point and Mitsubishi sells it.A vehicle that's 20k your payment would be between $400 to $500 depending on your interest rate and down payment. Then you add insurance gas and that vehicle now goes up to $700 per month for just a 20k vehicle.
Hi Mark. Hows about those cyber trucks?? Insurance companies in the US are refusing to insure them due to high repair costs even for minor damages........they are just seen as a loss. That says something right there about owning one. No thanks to any EVs.
Ill drive my explorer until the wheels fall off honestly I am not paying over 3-5 k for a 5 year old vehicle with 100k miles on it lol 3.5 k is plenty imo for a 5 year old car with 90k miles on it idc ill just drive my explorer until cant move anymore before I pay more than 3 maybe 4k at most honestly
They are still in denial and playing games. There are great options and if they don’t want to play, then go right to Mazda. Nicer products and equally reliable.
I don't want any tech or gizmos I just want a simple reliable car to get to places
Tech and gizmos are here to stay
I agree and while many of us like simple and reliable, the fact is that customers are generally asking for these features

Amen....
Yes I deed

I bought my Camry in 2021 with 178k for 10k from a dealer it was on a lot and I have not had much to replace I’ve seen some go for 12k with 200k

@@jimfleury6349agreed just walk out and make sure to warn others. There are plenty of legitimate dealers who won’t play games.
Something to keep in mind is that Teslas are getting cheaper to make so lowering their prices doesn’t affect their profit 1:1

Exactly and most people still decline Gap so many get hosed in an event of a major. Sad state.

People are generally very skittish buying/ selling before any election. Prices are projected to go up again because of a political policy.
Didn’t know dude rock with Mazda 🆒
