Okay i thought this video was from an independent reapir shop. Then i realize this is directly from HP. Great job, HP Keep it up.
This laptop is so rare, that the only way to see it live on youtube in July 2023 is to see this repair video. I wish they'd be some review videos out there :)

same here, still haven't found any review for this model nor the zbook firefly g10 one
@@notliz3016 I ordered and got 15.6 Power G10 A (AMD) for work. Amazing machine, much better than the prev. Zbook 17 G6 I have with intel cpu. With AMD cpu the laptop fan almost never kicks in unless you do some heavy stuff and the battery life is great.
@@uamade that's so great to hear, really, ok I'm thinking on ordering it soon, and how long more or less does the battery lasts by doing browsing, watching videos, coding maybe? Thank you so much for taking your time for answering my commentary 🙏
@@notliz3016 I did not spend the whole day browsing since this is a work laptop - so take my comment with a pinch of salt. Most of my work is zoom videos calls. Windows says more than 6 hours when in light use with cpu energy efficient options on - which is great for such class of machine. the web camera is very good - people notice in calls that it several leages ahead of the prev. machine. In terms of light and ergonimics - it is so much lighter and smaller than 16 inch g6 zbook. Yet it is more powerful. I also have descrite RTX card in it.
How to remove the keyboard? Is it soldered in one piece with the top cover or it can be substituted?
Hi there, thanks for contacting HP Global Social Media Support!

I will do my best to assist you.
The top cover with keyboard remains after removing all the parts.

I had to work on one of these things today, what a pile of junk!. The bezel and the hinge cover are one piece, the LCD panel has FOUR strips holding it in, 3 of then snapped in half and one was like it was super-glued in -and the wireless card is on the system board. HP held nothing back ripping off you who bought these. Better hope you never need any maintenance ! It's almost like they took engineering lessons from crApple. I like your little grounding strap, cute. So you never showed how /where to place those four strips under the LCD during replacement, I lucked out in one sense because the original ones on the machine I worked on were such garbage that three of them actually ripped in half and the one that was like super glued in, all left a remnant in place, the three still had some plastic covering on one side as well -obviously not very well assembled. I just can't get over what trash these are. . . and if you happen to crack the LCD in removing the defective, HP will charge you hundreds of dollars claiming the issue was customer induced damage. I did not crack mine and the screen had a vertical line in it out of the box. The quality control is atrocious at whatever communist country HP is assembling these at the moment.

@@HPSupport ~ see how efficient they are, apparently replying to, but never even reading or comprehending my comment. I did say I repaired the machine, didn't I? How pathetic ! Incidentally all their reps are located in third world countries -and working from home, you can hear the livestock in the background when you converse with them - trying to interpret and understand their foreign accents.
Too bad coming from the official HP technicians... that the tutorial is false and misleading... Do the so-called teardown of the Zbook Power G10 while the video is made on a Zbook Power G9! This can be seen because in the video, the wifi card is soldered to the motherboard (this is the case on the Zbook Power g9) whereas on the Zbook Power g10, the wifi card is on an M.2 connector and therefore can be dismantled for replacement. And then, when disassembling the LCD panel itself, the technician removes stickers (which are used to stick and hold the LCD panel to the shell). But for reassembly, it does not encourage you to reapply stickers to hold the LCD panel properly. Either the technician is bad, or the stickers are basically useless... Otherwise, decent tutorial.
sorry pal, the zBook Power G10 15.6s I've seen actually DO have the wifi built right ON the systemboard, possibly this is a revision they rolled out, . . I donno'. Also I've replaced a number of LCDs on these and I don't know if they "discourage" the use of the stickers for reinstall, but they do provide them with the RAW panels. Incidentally, those adhesives (* stickers) are trash. I was a bench tech at a major financial institution for years, and an HP Field Tech -until they required me to take the vaccine that isn't ( *obviously I didn't fall for it). I am now an Analyst, and repair new and field machines for a huge IT management and supplier firm.
I am writing this letter to express my extreme dissatisfaction and frustration with the abysmal service provided by your service provider, Sysnet, in relation to the repair of my laptop. Despite their repeated visits to address the issue, they have failed to resolve the problem and have even had the audacity to close the complaint without any resolution.
I would like to bring to your attention that Sysnet's engineers have visited my premises on four separate occasions in an attempt to repair my laptop. However, to my dismay, they have shown a complete lack of competence and professionalism. Despite their numerous attempts, the laptop continues to exhibit the same charging issue that I have been reporting since the 25th of April.
What exacerbates this situation is the fact that Sysnet closed the complaint without any prior notification or resolution. This reckless and negligent behavior is simply unacceptable. It is evident that Sysnet's untrained engineers have not only wasted my time but have also failed to fulfill their obligation to provide a satisfactory resolution.
I demand an immediate explanation as to why the complaint was closed without addressing the issue and why I was not informed of this decision. Such disregard for customer service and basic professional ethics is highly distressing and reflects poorly on your company's reputation.
I insist that you take immediate action to rectify this matter. I expect competent technicians to be sent to my premises to resolve the charging issue once and for all. Furthermore, I demand a thorough investigation into Sysnet's handling of my complaint and appropriate disciplinary action against the responsible individuals.
I trust that your company, which I have regarded with some level of respect until now, will take this matter seriously and provide a prompt and satisfactory resolution. Failure to do so will force me to explore alternative avenues to address my grievances, including legal action and reporting the matter to relevant consumer protection authorities.
I anticipate a swift response to this complaint, detailing the steps you will take to rectify the situation and prevent such instances from occurring in the future. I demand a written confirmation of the actions that will be taken to address my concerns within a week.
This letter serves as a formal grievance, and I expect a prompt and satisfactory resolution. Enclosed, please find copies of all relevant documentation and correspondence for your reference.
I await your immediate attention to this matter.
Yours sincerely,
Vivek Chhapolika
Vivek my dude, this is UA-cam comments 😂 what do you think HP are gonna do for you here? Link you to some juicy laptop memes?
