I have the same problem. Constant 52 volts coming out of the battery. Looks like a few battery came out of production bad or maybe they were dropped during shipment which is probably what happened being so heavy.
That 2 volts you are getting out of the good battery is back feed. If you had a better meter with a lo-z function that 2 volts will turn to zero like it should be. Also even though you have a cheap meter you should still have a continuity feature on it. You can test each pin on the cable and determine if it's good or not.
Interesting! Yes, my meter has a continuity function. I’m pretty confident the cabling is okay but it never hurts to check! Thanks for watching and commenting!
I have issues too and I've given them SN and details and heard nothing since. I've very worried. Customer Service is very very important. Right now I'm hoping that they are just busy and will get back to me soon.
Having issue with my system,Error code 008 OCP.Hope you don't encounter this too, not getting response from Bluetti not able to use my system completely.Any tips on how you can get help from service??Really frustratingThanks
There is a Facebook group for bluetti and I believe it is probably the fastest way to get a response from them. That’s what did the trick for me. Thanks for watching!
@@diyrenewableenergyelectron4996 I hope they get back to you and replace the broken product. Pretty interesting issue that the power output is basically stuck on.
You don't know whether the cable in the battery unit caused the fault on the battery in the first place. I would ask for a replacement of both B300S and the conecting cable just in case or you might blow the next unit aswell.
That’s a good point. We did try swapping the cables between batteries and the issue was consistent with the one battery but a replacement cable wouldn’t hurt. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I NEED HELP!!! I have sent email (2) to Bluetti but no response. I recently purchased the same AC500 and (2) B300S. I charged everything up and did a test running a small oil heater in my home. Everything fine but batteries drained after 6 hours. Very over cast, so solar panels did not recharge B300. So alarm kept going off, so looking at screen I saw AC button, and thought if I turned that off it would stop alarm. I finally was able to turn off screen and alarm stopped. Now everything is dead and I tried turning on screen, but it will not turn on. I think it is because I turned off AC button. I tried hooking up provided cord to charge with wall outlet, but it is not charging and inverter/screen not turning on. What or how can I correct the problem? Thank you for any help you can send me!!!
Hi Linda, I’m not familiar with this issue. It could be that the battery BMS went into a protect mode and needs to be reset. Try a Google search for resetting the bluetti after a deep discharge. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing. I ordered the B300S as a standalone product. Since I don't have the AC500, would you say the way to test this and determine if I have a bad battery is by using a multimeter to see if it reads 52.9V? If so, do you have a link for that multimeter? Thanks, and keep up the great work!
Yea, I would say if the battery is shut off (no lights on) and you’re getting voltage out of the terminals, it has an issue. I got the multimeter from lowes, I’ll look for a link.
Just curious what did you order the battery for? Another Bluetti product that accepts the B300S? Kind of baffling how something as simple as an expansion battery can have issues for so many customers
@@ericklein5097 In the short term I bought for an Iceco JP Pro 50 fridge and to use it during power outages and camping for a CPAP machine (as well as the fridge). Long term I bought it anticipating they will come out with a newer version of the 200 Max that will support the use of it. After getting it, and if I was being honest, I did not anticipate how large and heavy it is even after watching the videos. Hi there, would you know the max solar input you can have for an AC500 with 1 B300S? Is it the 3000Max as specified? Wasn't sure how to interpret the solar input figures.
@@diyrenewableenergyelectron4996 thanks. I was planning on picking up some panels and connect them in series. I will make sure the total input watts is less than 3k. Each one is 360w. The VOC is 47.7. Is this the voltage? If so. Should I only get 3?

Glad you had better luck with their customer service. I can't say my results were as good.
We will see how it plays out. Talk is cheap, we will see if they actually follow through. Thanks for watching!!
I have a small Bluetti unit and am very impressed with the quality
I have the same problem. Constant 52 volts coming out of the battery. Looks like a few battery came out of production bad or maybe they were dropped during shipment which is probably what happened being so heavy.
Your 2.6V on the good battery when off is just leakage through the connection circuitry (when the battery is off).
Makes sense! Thanks for sharing.
With Bluetti you need to buy your own backups and assume it won’t be replaced in time. So if you want two of something buy three.
Yea, still no resolution. Sounds like it may not happen 😞

Actually, the B300S was ordered for this AC500. The AC300 is not compatible with the B300S battery
I hope in the future they update their product line to be compatible with the B300S. Mix and match between batteries/generators would be excellent!
