I heard a quote from Bungou Stray Dogs anime that stuck with me. "Some time I regret the things I did but I will always regret the things I didn't do.". it stuck to me because it is true. you may remember the mistake you make when you did something but you will always remember the things that you should /would have done in the past.
I related to this character sooo much! I went the safe route with my career (software development) and I am just now, at 30 years old, trying to switch into my true passion of game development. However, its hard and scary to make a change that can affect my livelihood so much. Also, have a hard time saying no to family. So can relate to wanting to sccrifice my passion and interests for their well being. Same as Sein I thought being a game developer was a childish dream and not a "real job". I dont regret much what I have done and where I am now, but wonder about having made different decisions sometimes... Now making an effort towards that goal though.
What I’ve learned about regret through my own life experience is I only regretted when I didn’t like where/who I was but now that I’m on a path that I’m proud of and becoming someone I like more and more regret isn’t an issue because I’m grateful for those things because they made me who I am and I like who I am, So turn regret to gratitude❤️
8:22 I'm pretty sure we know exactly where Frieren is coming from. The 50 years she didn't check up on Himmel, her whole main ep1 revelation of, why didn't she try to spend more time with the party and get to know them better. After the 50 years she realized that...she could have checked up on them any number of times before, but she didn't until it was actually too late.
It is never too late to start something, at first you might feel you won't ever made it, but when you start and never stop, you will succeed, or if not, you will learn something, it won't be in vain to start doing something. I was like that when I was starting my first fulltime job, I always wanted to become freelance artist, but I was so suck at it I thought I will never get better, but as I kept trying, even with such dissatisfaction, it paid off eventually, I looked back at what I drawn ten years ago, I can't believed that was mine. Keep trying, the more dissatisfaction you had along the way, the more appreciative you would be when you got there or beyond. I quit my job 3 years ago, it was scary, totally could relate to these characters here, the skills you had to accumulate is one thing, the big leap to another step is harder.
I tell my dad this, cause mentions how he’s too old for xyz. But the way I see it, it’s never too late to start something new, the time will pass regardless of what you do so why wait.
4:14 yeah but you see, you started it to have fun and and use it as a workout and whatnot, the people younger than you that's say it's already too late say it cause they have a different goal in mind. To be world champion, win the olimpics, etc. Many world class athlete start from a very early age. You say you can still start late and get good at it and enjoy it, but not everyone is built that way, mentally. Not everyone can just enjoy being kinda good...that's not good ENOUGH. I'm personally that way, I always compare myself to the people above me in anything even remotely competitive and am miserable for the feeling of being inadequate. When you lose, your worth is reduced to 0 by whoever has beaten you, they are superior and you are trash. Even if that's an edgy over exaggeration, logic can't easily overcome a built in gut reaction and feeling, and it feels terrible.
bro takehiko inoue the creatornof slam dunk, he do a new manga called "Real" bro... in the future i hope you can read this manga! is a seinen and the characters uffff change my life
OMG, you watched this in dub?!?!?! 😮 Honestly, I usually ALWAYS defend dub watchers and believe MOST dubs don't get nearly enough credit. But Frieren's dub.... It's quite honestly the one of, if not THE, WORST dub I've heard in a long time!... There's not many animes that I'll insist people should watch in subtitles if they prefer dub, but Frieren 100% SHOULD be watched subbed...
The dub was great. Idk what you consider good dubs, but you're way off on judging this one. The team did a fantastic job on Frieren and I can't wait for the next season

I love the characters in Frieren. At face value they seem so simple, but they all end up having so much underneath.

Absolute gigachad

I like your videos, I would like to recommend that you take a look at Blue Period, it has helped me a lot in my fight
Do a video on asta in black clover
Btw, is your voice or AI generated? If AI, what AI are you using?
No?
@@LessonsFromAnime ok thanks

can you do a vid about bunny girl senpai, i might sound like a loser but the movie changed my life
Well,he is hot 🤷.
Fair enough lol
Glad Sein is back (Chapter 135). There are some theories that the Blacksmith Shadow Warrior (Chapter 132) is Gorilla Warrior.
You lost me with the dub
okay
