I don't usually give out advice but try removing your contact lenses for the night. Keeping them on will dry them out as well as your eyes, might cause infections and make the lens not last as much. In the car you can try eye drops, it should increase your eye's comfort level 😊 Love your videos! You guys are the cutest family ever ❤
Yes - please do not wear your lenses overnight! Eye infections are no joke. Next time, wear your glasses for a while to give your eyes a break, and that way you'll have good binocular vision until you get new lenses.
Hey Vika ❤ I used to sleep with lenses and it was all ok until one point when I was on holiday in Italy and I woke up with one eye red. I was taken to hospital where eye doctor screamed on me something in Italian language and it looked very bad. I had to remove them immediately and they gave me eye cream for infection. I couldn’t have lenses for 2 weeks and that time I didn’t have any glasses with me, I was completely blind. I’m -6,5. I learned my lesson, Now I have daily lenses to keep it as much hygienic as possible, and swapping them with glasses evening. In plane and bus I have to have eye drops otherwise if lenses are dry it could harm the top of eye and that’s dangerous. Sight is very important. I don’t play with it anymore, it’s just friendly advice. Stay safe ❤
it is not recommended to sleep in them AT ALL! I never did but I ended up with chronic dry eye syndrome just for wearing them day in and day out for one year my eyes have healed pretty much but I ain't going to back to wearing them lenses except maybe on holidays or on special occasions I'm willing to wear the daily lenses otherwise its the good old glasses for me.
Hello lovely family. I am a 69 year old Kiwi woman living in Australia. I look forward to your vlogs.Tolya is a fabulous guy. You have both made a good choice! Your girls are so cute! So nice to see your Mum. She is brave going paragliding! l love how you are minimalists! I am the opposite - a hoarder! Love your beautiful cat!! Thank you for sharing your lives. Jo
Get glasses! It won’t hurt to have a pair and you can take your contacts out at night and put glasses on first thing in morning, then put your contacts in when you are dressed. Thank you for this video! Now I know why it is called the Black Sea. Georgia looks like such a beautiful Country!
I love seeing the different places you go. I will likely never travel to them so it’s so nice to live vicariously through you. The sculptures and art in that town are beautiful.
It looks like a beautiful place to visit. I like how you make all places you visit fun for Agatha. If there's no playground, you make the surroundings your playground.
It's lovely getting to see Georgia through your eyes and experiences. I have never been to Eastern Europe. What a lovely day out in Batumi despite no blue skies!
Please take care of your eyes. Please remember to take out your contacts when sleeping. Keep them clean and routinely replace them every 30 days if you are using monthly contacts. They do dry out and can grow bacteria over time even with proper cleaning daily, they increase risk of dry eyes and eye infections
Unfortunately nobody is too young to know about war thankfully she is too young to understand what it is all about hopefully it will end soon but who knows
Please take the lenses out while sleeping!! And wear them as less as possible since your eyes need oxygen!! Otherwise your eyes will get damaged amd severe when you are older!!! Super nice vlog! I am learning about Georgia through your videos! I love it! Greetings from Switzerland🤗
How lovely and relaxing this looks! Please be careful not giving your eyes a break from contact lenses. I was a long time contact lense wearer from age 13 to 38 years of age due to severe short sightedness (-17 in my left eye, and -18 on the right). I hated glasses because the glass lenses had to be very thick. At 38 my specialist told me my eyes were starting to starve from lack of oxygen due to the many years of contact lenses, so he did an operation to insert permanent lenses, which I had until age 59. Two years ago I was diagnosed with cataracts in both my eyes (caused by side effects from 5 yrs of anti depressants) Flaps in my eyes were first lifted, the permanent lenses removed, the cataracts removed and then cataract lenses inserted. The surgeon said I would need to go off the anti depressants to avoid the risk of cataracts re-occurring, so that is what I did. Better depressed than blind, right? But anyway, sorry for the long story, but please give your eyes long breaks from contact lenses. It's very important to avoid long-term damage to your eyes.
@Rachel Quinnett Yes, they can unfortunately. Anti depressants have many side effects, some of which could be long term and some short-term., Everyone reacts differently to these side affects, some people could have one or 2, some people more than 2, and some people, experience no side effects at all. My severe nearsightedness occurred due to parental physical ab**se at age 5 when my head was slammed against a wall. I'm 61 now. I'm doing ok😊 I take a natural supplement for my mental health, and I only need reading glasses after my cataract operation. I consider that a win🏆
This is a beautiful place to visit. I love seeing the different architecture, monuments and the metal statues. Agatha is so friendly and outgoing. It was cute to see grandma riding Agatha on her back. Great video. 🌻🐕🥰🇺🇸
I love Batumi so much I spent two weeks on vacation almost 4 years ago, it was stunning, very breathtaking and a continuous discovery. That perfect mix of modern, classic and ancient, its art, kind and welcoming people, and its excellent and never predictable food. You're a fantastic person, it is always a great pleasure to see you, listen to you and dream with you in places like this that stay in your heart, leaving you with that typical bittersweet of positive melancholy. A big warm hug to you, Tolya and your little big women from Sardinia. ❤
I am very thankful that you chose to share this with us. God's love shines so very brightly from your beautiful family. Peace and blessings from your friends in Maine, U.S.A.
Beautiful, carefree, relaxing vibe. Something I think the whole family needed after all the focus and work that's been going on with the new house and being away from each other so much. Lovely to see the closeness of your family. 😊❤❤❤❤
So nice you got to take trip to the Ocean. I'm sure your husband appreciated some time out after all the work at the house. I'm a grandma and love seeing Agatha spending time bonding with her, those are precious memories. Thanks for sharing 😊
so interesting to see places i will never visit. Black sands, who knew. loved your little map with the car's tracking your path. Beautiful architecture...nice summery dress. thanks video share.
Thanks for a great vlog Vika. Isn’t it great to be able to share experiences like this with people from around the world. I don’t think I would ever have seen anything of life in Georgia were it not for you.
Your white dress is really pretty vika. It's the first time I've seen black sand, black sand must be hot in the summer. Agatha is so happy to play on the sand. Glad you were able to find contact lenses in batumi. It was too cute Tolya admiring you on his cell phone😁. I can't wait for the next video!!!
So nice to see other parts of the world where I will never be able to visit through your travels. These places are all so modern - it was unexpected for me. You're beautiful! And your family is beautiful! 🥰💖🌟
Thank you for letting us all into your beautiful family's life. I've wanted to visit Georgia ror many years, even more now. 😊 😊 Reallycool holiday flat!
I grew up at Ocean Beach in San Francisco when I was little and my mom would take me and my sister to the beach all the time. It was always freezing cold and windy like this looks. The waves were usually small but sometimes they were really big and the water was shockingly cold as it comes from Alaska. We could hear the seals barking on Seal Rock and we would dig for hours in the sand. I love the place in my memories. This was a beautiful reminder. I miss my mom and that time we had together. (Teach Agatha to swim soon)
Crazy that you can go get contacts without seeing a doctor or a prescription. Must be really convenient and nice. I always carry extra lenses or my glasses in my purse in case one dries up or falls out.
You can in Denmark too. The glasses stores have people with optician education, and they evaluate what you need as good as an eye doctor. Then you just need to get the lenses at the place you were evaluated. I don't actually think eye doctors do the evaluations anymore. They did when I was a kid, and often you would have to wait for a while because, of course, a lot of people needs glasses. So they started to educate a lot more opticians. Maybe there is also your insurance plays in, if you don't live in a country with universal health care.
I've never seen a black sand beach in person. I would love to experience that. Batumi city is very pretty with some really nice buildings. I'd love to visit there some day. Your girls are getting bigger. They are so sweet, and grandma must love being with them.
Wonderful scenery. I am seeing this part of the world for the first time. You and Tolya have a lovely family. Agatha is growing so fast. Until part two.....
Another beautiful vlog of your family enjoying the simple things that life can offer, love to see how close Agatha is with her Grandma, thank you for sharing your life with us,take care and safe travels 👏🏻❤️
I grew up in Europe, and we used to buy Italian ice-cream in a cone just like that from the street vendors/ ice-cream parlors.. mmm, so good! You guys always have a good time wherever you go, and your videos are so fun and relaxing to watch. Agatha is having a ball with Grandma. It looked cold and windy at the beach, so I was surprised to see palm trees there. Looking forward to part 2 of your trip.❤

What a lovely beach trip together! Thanks so much for sharing, Vika. For me the best part was when you discovered Tolya not reading. Just a glimpse of a truly amazing guy who adores his wife, even when he doesn't know anyone's watching. Definitely a keeper, as if you didn't already know. lol Looking forward to your next post. 💖💖💖

And thanks for sharing these beautiful and peaceful moments with us, take care 🌻 (p.s. Hey, I used to work in optical and I really really really recommend you take them off to sleep.I've seen really bad thing things and its *common for people who sleep with them to completely loose the ability to wear them overtime*. Just an FYI
You should take those out at night. Take care of your eyes. I had a friend that got a really bad eye infection from leaving them in all the time. I switched to wearing glasses all the time now. But I miss the contact lenses sometimes. I love your family. You're videos are very interesting. You are such a sweet girl 😊
Thank you for another lovely video of your quality family time. I love the black sand and moving statue! The wind getting sand in your eyes probably contributed to your sore, dry eyes. You could buy some eye drops to help with that xx
That’s some pretty cool black sand. I’ve never seen sand that color in the USA. We do have beaches with white sand that’s almost as white as sugar or flour. I’m so glad you get to experience these amazing adventures and Tolya’s mom gets to enjoy them with you guys as well.
Thanks for taking me with you! I had plenty sea holidays. I didn't like it much when my children were small. They were forever in the sea and then drying on the beach. Two weeks after returning from the sea I was still battling to get the sand out of the hems of their costumes ... and out of my car! 🤣🤣 They enjoyed it. This is the first time I see black sand on the beach. I'm sure your mother-in-law enjoyed it. You must spoil her while she's there. Agatha is a very 'chirpy' little girl. I'll 'adopt' her as my granddaughter. Beautiful manners and the smile in her eyes. Okay, I'm ready for part 2. 🥰🥰😘♥ Much love from South Africa.
I love watching your beautiful videos! It is my dream to visit Georgia one day, and you are giving me such lovely glimpses of it here in the southern US. That dress is so pretty on you! White is your color. :)
I am sure you knpw, but as tempting as it is to wear disposable lenses constantly, there is the possibility of scratching your corneas especially if dirt gets underneath. I know from experience. Enjoy your normal sight, with care. I wonder how hot that sand gets in the summer? Smart to visit on an overcast day.
Thank you for bringing us along. The area is beautiful. Tolya...please share your suggestions of books you think we should read. I may give them all a try.
I am very happy to see your happiness. You are a loving family and you deserve the best. Agata and Adelina are so cute and the sea side is really nice and very relaxing for them and also for you all. The kids will have a lot of fun there! Thank you very much for sharing. Take care!
What a fascinating place. The architecture is amazing. You and Tolya’s mum looked lovely and summery In your dresses. The sculptures are really interesting. I love these videos of places I have never heard of before.
Such a cute family! Looks like a fun getaway with some memories that will be cherished for years to come. There is something so peaceful about the beach. Glad you were able to go!
Beautiful vlog. There was black, magnetic sand like that at Lake Huron in Michigan, USA where I used to vacation as a kid! Only in patches on the beach, though. Looking forward to Tolya's book list :)
I know what it's like to have dried-out lenses. I used to carry some eye drops with me all the time. They were special ones for lenses and came in very handy. Thank you for sharing this interesting place with us. By the way, I love your pretty dress.
Please take your lenses out every night as bacteria will accumulate and can cause bacterial infections!! Also your eye can’t properly lubricate when you’re wearing lenses all the time so it’s very important to take breaks!! All the best to you and your family ❤
The dryness can also cause the lens to scratch the eye. I try not to be the "nagging" type of person, but you really don't want to be having eye problems. That can get serious, very quickly. (Especially in a new country where you many not be sure what medical treatments are available.)
I have never seen anyone else showing their travels in Georgia until you! Thanks for letting us see how beautiful Georgia is!

In Russia, we can get many things without seeing a doctor. If we're sick, we can go to a drugstore and buy what we need.
In Russia you can get contacts from a vending machine, we have one at our supermarket.

Thank you for bringing us along. The area is beautiful. Tolya...please share your suggestions of books you think we should read. I may give them all a try.
Beach sand is black too at black sea.
How beautiful this place!
love that white dress!!
Oh just seen her I love you guys so happy to see yall more than once in a while
Beautiful vlog. There was black, magnetic sand like that at Lake Huron in Michigan, USA where I used to vacation as a kid! Only in patches on the beach, though. Looking forward to Tolya's book list :)
That was a very interesting trip to take us on!
I know what it's like to have dried-out lenses. I used to carry some eye drops with me all the time. They were special ones for lenses and came in very handy. Thank you for sharing this interesting place with us. By the way, I love your pretty dress.
Kids love sand!
On the other side, in Romania, the sand of the coast is much nicer and lighter in color.
Looked like a fun vacation.
I loved the black sand on the beach and I love your dress! So cute!
