I remember one time I raked a perfect square in the sand. And then I stepped out of it and thought nothing of it, unlike Peter who saw a whole lot more... fabulous!
Pure magic. I know I'm not the first to say it. These sand pictures remind those found at Nasca desert. And in some places his creations would be ruined by people even before the tide comes. People admiring what he is doing are good.
A true artist accepts mistakes & accidents as gifts, going with the passion of in-the-moment over the rigidly defined ideals of 'perfection'.., making great works of art from something as simple & common as dirt.
As temporal as an Ice Sculpture, and fleeting as the wind, like a melting moment where only the memory remains, the sand artist shares his vision, seeing only the result mirrored in eyes of the onlookers. xx

What a unique ability to be able to "see" the perspective at ground level. I wonder how many people have unique visions like that - and how many act on them?
I don't know what religion this man is. I don''t know if he believes in God or he worships a purple shoe! All I know is that this is an amazing gift. As a christian woman I can say, that I commit my works unto the lord. And if I could do this, I would do it for him to. BUT! if he doesn't, then he doesn't.
@cipiatone Many of us experience madness, some make it a positive, some make it a negative. I think this guy is a free spirit with no expectations in the NOW.
@rioghann69 He looks very heathy...damn he is very healthy, physically and every other way to be that focused and to run and jump around for all those hours. He's very fortunate to be so healthy at his age. But that happens sometimes when you get to do what you love. Most people look for happiness instead of making it themselves. He's a beautiful soul and a great example.

The mind has trouble letting go. Everything is Impermanent. Sun sand, air, water, and waves. Large dimensional artist...great.
