We recommend at least once a year to perform an oil analysis, grab a sample, send it out to a laboratory and take a look at the results. Obviously, if you need to change the oil, then we recommend changing the filter. We offer oil analysis to our customers to make it easy, as well as the oil and replacement filters. We also recommend after the report comes back, to hold on to it, so if you do not need to change the oil and when you run the next sample you then have something to compare the new report to and see if has gotten worse.

You will get a low pressure oil alarm if it gets restricted. That's usually when they get changed lol
