Exact same! I love crystals way of teaching. She makes sure we can see and doesn't go too fast! I STILL CANNOT do corner to corner ! It's driving me crazy that I can't figure it out!

You design such beautiful crochet items for us! I’m using your “Open Oyster” stitch pattern to make an afghan for a wedding gift for my niece. I used it to make a smaller throw and totally fell in love with the pattern! For my niece’s gift I’m using Caron Colorama Halo in Rose Frost. The color pink is a favorite of hers so I hope they like. I like the wider shawls. Wraps nicely!! I love the stitch. Very lacey & pretty!!! I may have to make this as my next 2nd piece. Cuz I always make 2 things at a time. So I can switch off to rest my brain!!! I'm just about to start my next blanket. Everybody gets a blanket for Christmas this year. Sons get a blanket. DILs will get shawl & scarf. I've made 4 blankets so far since Jan 1, 2024!!! And BOD CAL Shawl and many scarves. I swatch every big piece and make a scarf beforehand. It works great!!!

I love patterns - especially for shawls - that you can make as small or large as you want. I often just keep going till I run out of yarn. I really like this pattern - it's just the right amount of lacy. My earlier note is to save time when I get ready to sit down and make this. Thanks, Crystal!
