I can’t say enough about this kid! 4.0 student! Great athlete from what I seen online but I questioned how he’d do starting as a freshman at linebacker for the Toads but seeing him in the gym over the summer opinions slowly started to change! This kid looks like a senior at workouts! Leading by example! Training with a purpose! And as the year went on it seemed the tougher the game, the better he played! He got better all season! 117 Total tackles, 6 sacks, 1 interception, 2 forced fumbles, 1 blocked punt! #2 in WSL and #17 out of all boys in the central section! Just freshman Total tackles Redding was #2 in California and #12 in the Nation!
The Toads went undefeated 14-0 and I don’t think that happens without him! That’s what winners do! They rise to the occasion! They get excited for those big games and opportunities! That’s what turns an average player good a good player great and a great player legendary! So yes! He opened many eyes including mine! He’s a good respectful kid and I’m excited to see what this kid does the next 3 years! The sky is limit for this kid for sure!
