I grew up a few kilometers from Heidelberg. It's strange to see these places here on UA-cam. Haven't been there for more than 20 years and still recognise every corner. Nice. Thank you guys!
@@cjexplores I didn't see a single change, looks exactly how I remember Heidelberg. Did you take a tour of the surroundings? Further up the Neckar there are some amazing locations. This is especially nice if you're into biking with all the hills forests winding roads. There is also a small hiking track on the oder side of the river, that's extremely beautiful especially in the evenings. Really miss this region ;-)
@@michaelutech4786 we did take a drive with friends out to the “Wine Street”. We visited vineyards and castles. It was so beautiful out there. I can see why the Germanic tribes defended this land so fiercely when the romans came 😉
You missed the older Bergbahn that takes you to the top of the Königstuhl. The wooden cars have so much more character than the lower mountain high-tech cars.

Glad I chanced upon your video! Aside from the informative content, your editing skills are definitely a chef’s kiss. Cinematographic! What camera are you using by the way? Thanks! ❤️
They called it philosophers way, because in the beginning of the university every student had to study philosophy first. So it was the walkway of the students. Greetings from Heidelberg
It’s a DJI Ronin SC 😊 quite a few years old now. But there are plenty of great ones out there, they are releasing a new one this week actually. The RS3 Mini

@@cjexplores Yess! Will be studying dance therapy 😊💃
@@idillyl amazing! Have the best time 💃 🕺🏼
I recently visited Heidelberg. I enjoyed exploring the city. It was a lot of walking. I would like to return for a more leisurely visit someday.
Yes me too! Did you make it out to the wine regions nearby? It's so beautiful ❤️
I once ended up in Heidelberg completely by chance. Nice town with an impressive castle.
Haha same for me! I came here in 2013 only because I had a friend who was at university here. It’s a lovey town ❤️

Yes we knew about the higher car!! But we just didn’t have the time to do everything we wanted as well as the top of the mountain! 😅
Wow, Heidelberg looks particularly stunning from the drone. Another great job guys, thank you ❤️
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed ❤️🙏🏼
Thanks for this valuable post.

I'll see it in Mar 2024! Is a day trip enough or should I plan a 2 days?
A day would be enough for a taster but a couple of days would be plenty if you wanted to get the real feel of the place!
Beautiful, is it expensive to visit?
No not too expensive 😊 typical Western European prices 💶
I want to know, what was the height of the drone you were flying ? If it was more than 100m, did you get a special permission?
Really nice travel vlog but wish I could turn off the intense overwhelming background music:/
Apologies! We are working on our audio levelling 😌🤪😅🙏🏼
Stairs are worth it 😂 it‘s not actually that steep 🎉
Thanks Chris ❤️🙏🏼
€9 for return funicular and enter courtyard?
Yup! 😁

Did you like this one? 😅
