turn up your mic, turn down the break music...
This is a gentle critique.....I agree, it's annoying trying to listen to him speak with the music volume going up and down. The choice of music is blah too, it's distracting. Also, the camera focuses on him when he's putting out the ingredients and or adding them to the dish. Maybe hire a more polished film team.
@@1CelloOne Yep, I would MUCH prefer no music.
@@MaZEEZaM to prefer no music, shows they used the wrong music
I love this dish and I LOVE the smoky edge that the wok gives food in a stir fry
We love it too! It's a great dish to impress your friends with
Love this combination, a black bean dish would be great as well.
It looks so awesome, I can taste it in San Francisco!

We don't mind at all! Sounds like a good adaption - Lee
Thank you for your videos. We love Asian food and it is awesome to be able to make it at home.
No problem, that's why we're here! - Lee
This is my favorite stir-fry. I would have it everyday with a good cup of steamed rice...
The best Beef and Broccoli I've ever had! Thank you!!
Excellent! Glad you enjoyed it! - Lee
Love the dish and love the music , great job Chef !
Thank you! - Lee
Nice and clean dish. 💗
Looks like a perfect beef & broccoli 😍 YUM!
It was utterly delicious! - Lee
I love this dish so much I could happily live on it, I sometimes add a few bamboo shoots 2 it or very thinly sliced carrots depending what I have in the fridge/cupboard. Ur sauce is the closest I have found to my favourite Chinese restaurant. Can u do ur take on another classic of chicken and mushrooms please . Thank u x
Thanks Amanda, I will have a word with the team for the next shooting day we have about including a chicken and mushroom dish - Lee
School of Wok Thank u so much Lee
I like using flank steak when cooking Chinese!
I tried those for the first time last night, paired with the vegetable noodle stir fry. This is a winner! Made enough so I could take some more from lunch, even better the day after
Excellent stuff! - Lee
good stuff easy as good vids good sounds
Thanks! - Lee
Too sad its Sunday and shops are closed, I need this now!
Well hopefully you'll be able to get everything you need! - Lee
i've been paying attention to the background music, great choices. its like yall got taste.
Thanks! - Lee
You don't find it WAY too loud and intrusive?
Once again, excellent.
Thanks! - Lee
Love this recipe Jeremy, but I would prefer Chinese broccoli as it is more tasty and gentle.
It's hard to find in the UK unfortunately but use it if you can get some! - Lee
Damn mate!!! Watched videos of yours all sunday morning, subbed like hell!!! Awesome food!!
Glad to heat it, Petros! - Lee
@@SchoolofWok Tried this dish today and it was marvelous btw :-)
I love you!!!!!
You don't need high smoking oil to saute your meat (ps smoking oil actually gives off toxic smoke) . It is all about controlling the heat.
Did this the other night, amazing what a lovely dish for a none cook person to make im learning so much and seem to find using a wok an easy way of cooking compared to the usual frying pan. Next time i wont put salt in the sauce found it a little salty but i think that's down to experience bearing in mind ive only just started to cook at 46 lol
Haha, chances are the sauce will be salty enough without any additional salt! - Lee
I love this guy❣️
Thank you! - Lee
Simply amazing dish! Curious, if I was to cook this with about 1kg of beef for a family, would I simply triple the quantities of every ingredient?
Ideally you would want to do it in batches otherwise you won't achieve the intense heat that's needed.
Also you would end up boiling your beef instead of frying as there would be too much for the pan. Hope that helps.
Yes, but as someone else has said you'd be better off cooking it in a couple of batches to keep the heat nice and high! - Lee
Great, thanks for the advice! Can't wait to make it again 😜👍
Hi Jeremy thanks for delicious meals. I wld like to know can you use corn starch in place if corn flour and whats d difference .Thanks Keep Cooking My Friend Its Yr Passion.
We say corn flour here instead of corn starch, it's the same thing! - Lee
A wickedly good dish!!! Nice one J
Looks great Jeremy!!!
Thanks! - Lee
How do work out your quantities just watch beef and brocaly in oyster sauce how much stock and suger do you add to oyster sauce thanks
Hi, Dave. You can find a link to the recipe in the description, it'll tell you everything you need to know! - Lee
Jeremy, I gotta tell you last week my wife, son and I got hit with Covid. Out of the 3 of us my wife got hit the hardest and lost her sense of taste. Yesterday she finally tested negative. Tonight I made this dish along with the veggie stir fry, and she could taste it. She said it's the best meal she's had in a long time - her taste isn't 100% back but it's restored just enough that she was able to enjoy dinner 😁
A sprinkle of baking soda in the blanch water REALY greens up the broccoli.
music is way to loud :( i constantly have to adjust volume to hear you and then the music pops up to loud
Hi, Sumadin. This has been fixed in our latest content - Lee
I think you like showing people that you can “Tummy and Head” being that many people can’t! 😁
ps, I’m just joshing you! Thanks for making these cooking tutorials! I wouldn’t be able to cook as well as I do if it weren’t for guys like you!
Haha, he is a bit of a showoff. Glad to hear you've learned some stuff from us! - Lee
You are a great teacher. Quick question, is it still considered a stir fry once you add in the sauce/liquid? I though stir fry’s were dry heat so that the vegies stay crisp and the meat crispy. Thanks
Yes, it's still a stir fry! - Lee
Love the information; hate the annoying music. Anyhow, this will be supper tonight. I made it last week too, following your recipe exactly. It was excellent.
Thanks! The annoying music has been taken out of our newer videos - Lee
I love the way this man is moderately using his oil. Stir Fries often can be so fatty. Bought the Wok ring to support you :) )
Yeah, you don't need to use too much oil! Thanks for the support, enjoy the wok ring!
How much oyster sauce and chicken stock do you use in the cooking sauce in relation to the soy sauce?
There’s a link to the written recipe in the description, that should help!
Great recipe. I bumped the amount of sugar a little, added garlic, and some corn flower to the sauce. Tastes nearly identical to takeout. You should also correct your recipe as it does not call for spring onion, but the instructions mention it. Excellent as always.
Glad you enjoyed it, we used spring onion to garnish the dish I believe. It might have been done when we were taking the photo for the thumbnail which is why it wasn't in the video - Lee
Hey guys, the link to the recipe is gone
You know Jamie, you should occasionally look at the camera during the taste test and say “I’m awesome!”. It would be well deserved!
jamie oliver of asia .
What was the ingredients for the sauce? Sugar, oyster sauce, chicken stock and what else?
Dark soy sauce and salt - Lee
Here's a suggestion: why don't you start a restaurant in Brittany, France? Preferably close to where we live?
this has to be a voice dub
but the video looks easy to try
No need to velvet?
link to the recipe doesnt work anymore
Very fine
This looks awesome!! Just one question,i can't understand what is the second thing you use to marinate the beef, after the light soy sauce,so,can you please tell what it was?
Thanks,keep the great work
It's sesame oil and a bit of sugar!
Oh ok,thank you very much! Keep the good wo(r)k!!
My English it s not so good, it would be nice if you put subtitles, it would be very helpful, Thnk u in advance:)
Marinating meat... WHAT ? You didn't mention the 1/2 tsp. of Baking soda ? That's the SECRET Chinese meat tenderizer.
We didn't use any baking soda! - Lee
Are you Jeremy Chuo?
No, he's Jeremy Pang - Lee
Is that an induction hob?
It is indeed! - Lee
@@SchoolofWok thought so. Where can this hob be purchased from?
Its seep, not sip
Does School of Wok have any fresh caught Oysters stir fry recipes?
I live in PacNW, and Oysters are a common delicacy. It would be great if you had some good recipes using fresh Oysters.
The music is so much louder than the speech.
Im guessing he has no smoke alarm. btw, not keen on the vastly louder music.
Speaking as a London fireman i can tell you they will have a smoke alarm recommended for kitchens. Therefore, it will detect heat rather than smoke whereas you would have a smoke detector in other areas of the building!
@@ECCENTRICERIC69 Thanks for the info, I didn't know there was the distinction.
I love your recipes. I also subscribed. Please just do us one favor? Please remove your ring when you're cooking. I don't know if you remove it and wash after each dish but it would just be easier to remove your ring before preparing any food. Don't wanna cross contaminate anything with bacteria you missed under your ring!
Thanks! Don't worry, Jeremy washes his hands constantly when we are shooting! - Lee
Gorgeous Maistro!
You should NEVER blanch the broccoli for more than 30 seconds - Seriously, NEVER. Because it's going to get cooked again in the stir fry. I never get broccoli in a restaurant cuz it's ALWAYS overcooked. 30 Seconds!
kill the music. Otherwise great.
The music has been sorted in our latest content - Lee
So sorry, but the "music" wrecked this for me!

Good recipe, but HORRIBLY LOUD UNNECESSARY MUSIC DETRACTING FROM THE CONTENTS.
The wedding ring and meat massage is not good idea. Sorry
He's cooking for himself, get over it
Sorry bro. Not your best cook. 😷
