BEST TUTORIAL EVER! I’ve watched many videos on the stitch and none of them come close to this tutorial!! I finally got it and made my first ever pair of earrings!! THANK YOU!!!
Thank you!!! Rita
By far the best tutorial I've watched when trying to learn a new and different stitch. I just started learning to do the bead weaving/sewing and have watched many videos many times. I watched this video twice and I got it. I have subscribed and will be watching more of your tutorials during my bead sewing journey. Thank you for sharing and making it so simple and easy to follow. Wish I would have found you first!!!
Pure genius❣️I purchased a couple of your books yesrs ago, and have loved the simplicity of this technique. The best. Far superior to the fiddly traditional brick stitch technique. I still have the books (hiding in boxes) somewhere in my house. It’s been a very long time, but I want to start beading again. I’ve missed it. But I do have to re-familiarize myself.
Wow THANKS! Ive been wanting to learn this. You make it very clear and easy. AWESOME!
Thank you Brenna, glad to hear it. Have FUN!! Rita
Thank you 1000 times! I watched video after video trying to figure out why my 2 beads wouldn't lay flat at the beginning of each row! I was about ready to give up this new hobby! 😅 Thank you for such a detailed video!
This is a great video. I was taught to use this for the red dress earrings. Its been so long since you made a video. Please make another one soon.
Your the only one so far that did this slow enough. And explained properly what your doing 😊 thank you. Very good teaching. I was getting so frustrated people don't they go too fast and they're not showing you how exactly you go through the beads. So thank you so much for being careful in teaching good thank you
Thank you Deann, it's nice to be appreciated. I hope beading finds you as much enjoyment as I have gotten from it. Rita
Hands down the best straight to the point tutorial! Thank you! Every video i have watched is crammed full of nonsense talk and an hour later i am rewinding through the video trying to figure out where i left off. What a waste of time!
Till now! Again thank you for not cramming beading supply sales in my face that take up most of the video and my time!
I hear that
SOVA thank you I pulled out my hair with the other videos learning to brick stitch and the God must have heard me I found you and now I can say I can brick stitch I even see how to follow a pattern. I am going to watch every video you have on brick stitch till I have it down increase and decrease. I just wanted to say thank you very much, I am not frustrated anymore. I will say this it is not easier then peyote but I can see the difference in the two stitching techniques. I can go to bed now I get it thanks again.
You are so very welcome, it's so wonderful to hear that the information has helped you. Cheers to a Happy and Safe New Year!! Rita Sova

Hi Beatriz, you could use a mirror, or just mirror what is shown. Sorry I am not able to create a new video at this time. One of my sisters is left handed. Maybe there are other video's show left handed movements.
Hi Elizabeth,
Wish I could see your work, sorry I don't know what you are doing wrong, if anything.
Keep trying, it does get easier.
😍🤩👏👏👏
I am trying to beads a humming bird. The pattern shows to start with 3 beads work my way to 14 beads and than down to 2 beads continue to a tubular. Confused
Hi Martha, I can't really know the correct response without seeing the pattern and bead layout. You might research stitch instructions, peyote, brick, or even loom or square stitch. Or contact the place you got the pattern from.
Can you please beads a hummingbird.
Can someone show me how to make a pumkpin?
it looks easy, but when i tried it doesn't come out right, WHAT am i doing wrong? Please help me...
Having a problem with the video not pausing to see what I am missing. Do you have written instructions for this easy to follow video?

Hi, how do you end it?
To end, you weave the needle/thread through the beads, usually in a figure 8 path to secure the thread, then cut.
You should have shown it till the finishing line😭
Thank you for the suggestion, however the intent was not to create a completed item only to show the basic stitch. Finishing an item will vary depending on the item and goal; earring, bracelet, etc.
omg I'm so pathetic. How difficult can it possibly be to make the first 3 beads look like pyramid. I've done this First step 5 times and it still doesn't look like yours at all. I'm so stupid.
You are not stupid, just keep trying, watch where the needle enters the bead and where the tail exits the 1st bead added. People learn differently. Hugs, Rita
