Someone once pointed out that the saddest thing about this is that after Silco blamed Vander for going soft for so long, this was when he finally understood him, willing to sacrifice his lofty and independent goals for the sake of his children.
@@jb2599in the very end Silvo was willing to fckin throw his own living goal out if the window for sake of Jinx. İn the very end he decided bond between a parent and a child is more valuable than anything. İf he would live he would probably give up the demand on piltovere and try to live for his beloved child Jinx. He is still an asshole who would kill someone without hesitate as we see he tried to kill Vi. But he would simply retire being a revolution leader just like Vander.
@evergreenhigh1493 you're wrong lmao he's a horrible person and has no redeeming qualities, all he did was validate jinx's unhealthy coping mechanisms. he also encouraged her to vent her frustrations by hurting others.
This is the second time Jinx accidentally killed people she cares about trying to protect Vi. Absolutely heartbreaking. Her descent into madness makes perfect sense.
Jinx hated Powder for killing her father. Vi wanted Power back, and she got her wish. Power came back for just long enough to kill her second father. Jinx killed off Powder for that, and saw that Vi only ever cared about Powder, not her.
Goddamn, her expression at 2:39 emits so many raw emotions by looking completely devoid and drained of life. Just gaze into her eyes, her brows, her lips. So sick!
This is were Powder kills a 2nd father figure in order to save her sister. She once more suffers something unimaginable for saving Vi. Thinking abt this leaves me speechless.
And both times, it's her own mistake. Her "saving" attempt was a complete failure to the point where it would've been better if she hadn't bothered in the first place. Other than shooting Silco to save Vi, her first attempt just resulted in everyone's deaths.
I just realized. The remenants of Powder entered Jinx at that moment and protected Vi bc Silco was going to shoot her. That was Powders last gift to Vi. Before she died and Jinx took over.
2:45 im a full believer jinx started dissoacting at this part. Dissoaciting is a coping mechanism the brain dose when it deems a situation too stressful and you mentally check out. You can immediately see the switch from her crying to to just losing all emotions. She's not mentally here anymore. Going with the idea that jinx has BPD and schizophrenia it is very common for those with BPD to mentally check out if things get to stressful. Jinx couldn't handle the thought of what she had just done, and instead of facing it she hss retreated into her own mind. (Im like definitely projectinh dydhhdjd)
That, but I also like to think that when Jinx looked emotionless, the voiced ceased, so maybe Silco joined her inner demons, but his voice is comforming her and hushed others.
This is the second time jinx accidentally kills someone she loves but unlike vi silco really understand that jinx didn't mean to kill him and tell her that she's perfect the way she is.
What's utterly tragic is how Vi completely misread the situation. Her calling their lost family's names tae remind Jinx who she was, while Silco was trying tae make her stop? He wasn't trying tae keep Jinx frae being Powder, he knew that Vi was unknowingly torturing Jinx. Being reminded of her brother's and Vander was torment.
I am genuinely terrified to see how Silco is going to manifest next season. Will Jinx still hear/see the loving father who gave up a nation for her? Or is she going to spiral deeper down that well, now knowing that she has not only once again killed someone important to her, she killed the only person who has *always* been there for her.
I don't think its actually even words. What must have been going through her mind though? Silco was her father, but Vi's enemy. She thought the only parental figure left in her life betrayed her, only to find out he never did. Furthermore this is followed by Vi saying its okay when Jinx's world has just crumbled cementing the fact Vi will never understand her. Leading to the further realization that even though Silco didn't understand her, he was the only one who could ever get remotely close to understanding and accepted her. Truly a sad life full of madness, driven by guilt. She became what everyone projected onto her, a jinx.
Jinx has a mental disorder.. there is jinx and there is powder you can see these two personalities changing throughout the show. Powder killed silco and as jinx's revenge she killed powder that's why when those voices were talking all the light from her face slowly turned emotionless and nothing.
They killed him because he was too badass and keep reminding us out poorly written vi and other teenage characters are and some adults characters as well so by his death other weak characters get a space and i don't get it why they love thier bad characters... I'm 29 now and usually don't enjoy western media kid teen characters but as i remember even when i was like 14 never enjoyed any character that age..weird do they so bad or there is something in my taste... japanese works always had lovable young characters as shallow as they may are sometimes but they make sense in the story and world and events...
I highly disagree with that …it pisses me off when someone blames vi like come on if I had to come back to one of my family member who’s wild, crazy and enjoys chaos.I would back some sense back into them too and I’m not saying it’s right for vi to say "well I don’t love jinx I love powder” and it’s clear that jinx enjoy being the chaotic girl that’s she is and you can’t let anyone tell you who you should be and it’s very wrong of vi to remind jinx of the past because it hunts her.Im just say you can understand from vi’s perspective, she’s human who has flaws and her biggest flaw is not accepting change.
Thats...... kinda one of her flaws though. There's a psychoanalysis by Georgia Dow of Vi where the basic gist was she's very reactive and is used to fighting her way through her problems. As a result, she's not good with words, and when faced with stressful situations where she doesn't know how to respond, she will try to avoid it and/or remain silent. It's one of her character traits.
NAAAAOOOOOO SILCO! 😦🥵🥵🥵😭😭😭😭 Imagine Sevika breaking into the place at the very same moment Jinx blasted her own mentor and shouting just like Stephen did in Django Unchained

That’s so interesting, reminds me that Vander’s last words to Vi were “take care of powder” and Silco ended up being the one to take care of powder.
@@jb2599 I said this was when he understood him, not when he wanted to be LIKE him

They had to kill him because they noticed we liked him more than the protagonists 😂

Her first “saving attempt” was kinda like the ONU had broke the siege of Sarajevo using a nuclear bomb!
I love that he was such a terrible person. But a good man as a father.

I think it’s Silco’s voice in her head
We don't actually hear what's being said. But her reaction may suggest that Silco has joined the voices in her head. Hence why she calms down.

Vi was such a letdown in this show, and surprisingly poorly written given how incredible almost everything and everyone else was.
