I remember your guest from his engaging and fiery collaborations with 'China Teacher Brand' from a few years back. He is earnest and enthusiastic about China and his positive experiences there. Critics can say that bias colours this perception, which might be true. But there's a valid reason for any bias in my opinion.
Much of what people in the west know about the Korean War comes from the TV series "M*A*S*H" which shows a team of (zany, funny) US medics saving lives!
