after reading the comments i'd like to point some stuff out - this is a really *big* deal if you're an ot12 stan - the fact that vivi was able to debut under loona out of all the trainees just shows that she has a very big potential. the diversity in discography proves that each member of loona is versatile. it is just bbc is not really doing a good job at promoting her. so please dont assume she doesnt have good vocals or is a weak dancer. - please dont assume that she is okay with it. the recent interview (Hidden Track) proves that they are aware about themselves not getting lines. and also is affected by it. so please dont assume that she's fine while getting treated like this. - i highly doubt she got mistreated because shes a foreigner, but if it's true, then bbc is in big trouble - maybe the reason shes not talkative during interviews is just her being shy, not that she's not fluent in korean. - giving 12 members a fair line distribution is a pretty tough job, but its possible. butterfly has the fairest line distribution among the 3 title tracks. of course we cant have a fair distribution every comeback but in vivi's case she has been the bottom 3 of line distributions. the carol 2.0 is the only song with her having lines over 20+ seconds. - i have to admit that there is some kind of favoritism towards other members - everyone might have a different opinion on this, but i think chances of vivi leaving loona even after her contract ends is very slim. bbc did a poor job showcasing her talents. she will have a rough time after leaving the company. i think it's best for loona to stay as an ot12. after all, thats their main concept and what defines them. also highly doubt that bbc would ever do this, but this is what i think what vivi should get for compensation: - a new solo + a PROPER b-side - send her to do CFs - she doesnt necessarily need to be center, just dont make her look like a backup dancer - maybe 10+ seconds of ACTUAL lines, not adlibs, not the same lyrics over and over ( _i go i go_ ), just *proper* lines with the confirmation of a new album coming out, i really hope vivi gets to show her potential.
You're right but they usally put favoritetism to heejin kimlip yves chuu on the spotlight dance and sing and maybe jinsoul they should all take turns everyone is special in this world and I love this group

@@_jenniejane Choerry? That'd definitely be Go Won. She's most of the times down there with YeoJin and ViVi. It used to be the same with HaSeul but since X X she's been getting more lines (as she should!) but for me the "trio of underrated" (mistreated) are definitely YeoViWon. Choerry has also had her fair amount of lines (especially during + +), her lines decreased a little bit in X X because I guess they gave some to Olivia Hye, but during # both Olivia's and Choerry's lines were okay. YeoViWon were at the bottom as usual. The only time Go Won got to shine was during Satellite were she got a pretty good amount of center even when she wasn't singing, but that's it. Just because she's popular doesn't mean she isn't being mistreated by BBC
Fish And Noodles Gowon became a center in Butterfly where she was emphasized. Despite of her lack of lines, Gowon was more often in the frontline in every formation than YeoViSeul. I have no hate to Gowon since shes my bias wrecker. But BBC only did her dirty on the line distribution, unlike these 3. Yeojin, one of LOONA’s ace, barely got screentime, always shived in the back in every formation, barely have center time, and less line distributions. Haseul, one of LOONA’s best vocalists, treated as a sub-vocal, barely got some center time where she will be emphasized. Whilst ViVi, who have a very huge potential(According to the members) and a Visual Center Material, Only have 1 second line (Words should I say) in Hi High and So What, Barely getting screentime, Always shoved in the back, Her center time is faster than a blink of an eye, and worse, being treated as a backup dancer, rarely gets attention. And yet, is still passionate in performing on the stage despite of all those things. These three 3 really deserved more. No hate towards the girls, but atleast I hope BBC put up more Chineese/Foreign members in the group(just like in EXO) so that ViVi will have a chance to have a spotlight. EDIT: Forgot to add but i know mistreatment is mistreatment. So in conclusion, LOONA deserved better. #12not9

I know, BBC definitely has some kind of favoritism with HeeJin. Like I get that she's super talented and she's probably the best all-rounder in Loona but that doesn't mean she always has to get everything. I'm happy for her because she worked just as hard as the others to get there, but why mistreating the rest just so certain members can shine? And it's the same thing with Chuu, Kim Lip, Yves and probably JinSoul. I'm not hating on any of them because I would never be able to, but the others don't deserve the treatment they're getting.

it's not up to their company, it's up to the producers of each song to pick and choose whose voice fits which parts best...this isn't happening on purpose. Despite ViVi working so hard, she's just not making the cut for most parts in songs. She shines on some album tracks at least though.
@@MorseCodeStutters but there are definitely some lines that could've gone to ViVi apart from "hey" and "mwo ottae", for example she could've gotten Heejin's "rap" part, or one of the lines at the begining of the song. Same with Go Won who also got like 3 seconds of lines. And I'm pretty sure BBC has something to do with the line distributions too, every company does. Probably not as much as the producers of the songs but they definitely take part in it.
Same here, I'm a new orbit and when I started to know about Vivi's situation everytime I watch Loona moments I always try to find Vivi and just focus my eyes to her. I think she's gonna be my bias and this "treatment" to her makes me wanna love her more. Legit one of the most wonderful, talented human beings alive❤

Park Chammy Actually Winwin doesn’t get that much lines in WayV. It’s sad because SM insisted him so much that he quit his studies to enter the company. I’m learning things about Loona’s members and her case reminds me to Winwin
because Heejin is the better vocalist? and companies need to make their coins and part of that includes making the song sound the best it can possibly, so by simply common sense you’d give the better vocalist more lines than the one that can’t sing.

BBC actually forgot that LOONA don’t have official positions. And now look, despite of them not having official positions, people are now labelling them based on they are seeing. Ngl, but there are no changes in the official positions in their three title tracks. Chuu, still being the main vocalist, Kimlip,Yves, or Olivia still being the lead vocals, Jinsoul, still being the lead vocal/mainrapper, Heejin, still being the visual center,Lead Vocal, and Lead rapper, actually, you’ll notice in each era, they’ll just shuffle and shuffle, overshadowing the members who are also capable of doing those things. Haseul, one of LOONA’s best vocals, eho can also be a main vocalist, Hyunjin,Choerry, Gowon, and Yeojin, who were also capable of being the lead vocal/rapper, and ViVi, who is also capable of doing those since she have a huge potential(according to the members), AND SHOULD NOT BE TREATED AS A BACKUP DANCER! BBC really did dirty to these girls, and hiding their potential and capabilities of these members by not giving them the spotlight they really deserved. pastelskies yyep it is definitely very ironic that even the fans are even questioning who is the member that are singing the adlibs in a members’ solo. Example in this case is ViVi’s EDINY/EDILY. Since ViVi got lesslines and cannot show her same potential in her solo. Some Orbits are limiting her capabilities by saying/thinking that ViVi isn’t the one who’s doing the adlibs, its either Jinsoul or Kimlip. Which really upsets me since BBC isn’t showing everone’s potential and capabilities. And now see how some Orbits are already labelling them and even questioned their capabalities on the members’ solo songs. KILL BBC!!😢😤😭
I don't think Olivia is treated as a Lead vocal, She's actually on the same level as Choerry as treatment. Maybe she owns screentime sometimes but Choerry has a lot of lines in ++ and xx
Even her debut was shared though? Because she debuted in the same time frame as the 1/3 thing, she had a rapper in both her songs and the video had a boy in it and the other members. She has never had a chance to shine on her own from the beginning :(
The pre debut situation vas due to yeojin that failed her exam, she had to debut in 1/3 technically but first, she was to young to go promote on shows and 2nd bbc decided that she needed to focus on her exam more so that's why we didn't see her in loona tv for a long time during 1/3 era. Therefore bbc had to find a new member and with loona way of chossing members it means a new battle between trainees which might have been done in rush. They needed a 4th member so that's why ViVi debuted in the sub unit before doing a solo.
Natsuki luvr but barely any one of the loona member got screen time, it was like 3, they video main focus was on the models and not the loona member themselves (I think heejin, Olivia and or Yves were the only one to get focus part)
Yeah their predebut project got a bit messy. I'm pretty sure Vivi was supposed to actually be in odd eye circle (they eye thing and her hair was a clear giveaway) but got thrown in 1/3 instead due to them cancelling Yeojin from debuting. Jinsoul herself even said she was supposed to be the 6th member revealed, which is why she was featured on Vivi's song.
And they didn’t show her face at all in so what. At least I don’t think so. They just had that dumb mask on her the whole time. When I saw so what for the first time and I became a new orbit, I thought vivi was just one of those random people they use for the MV, I didn’t even know she was a member until I searched it up
the thing that frustrates me the most about how bbc treats vivi is the whole point of the debut project was to show that EACH MEMBER is talented. why would you spend so much time and money with the debut project only to shove a member we KNOW IS TALENTED because you MADE SURE TO LET US KNOW into the background??? and with how many lines heejin/chuu/yves/kim lip get each cb it would be so easy to just cut off a bit of that to give to vivi. i mean i got so mad in so what when chuu got that little rap like you're telling me chuu with all her adlibs and choruses needs that rap as well? we can't give it to vivi so that she gets more than 2 seconds of lines???? This is exactly what I have been thinking. I love all the girls, but I am just annoyed when vocalists are getting rap lines on top of singing the majority of the song and high notes. Tell me why Chuu needed that rap, and not Gowon or ViVi or Yeojin. I feel like they just write in those little 2 second speaking lines into the song, just for the sake of keeping some members from getting actual singing lines. Like, if you listen to LOONA songs, all of their group songs have these random speaking parts that occur at every chorus, and the same members get them each time, and besides those little speaking lines, they get no other lines. I'm honestly tired of seeing Heejin/Kim Lip/Jinsoul/Choerry/Yves/Chuu/Olivia Hye getting all of the lines, center time, and screen time.

Like, I understand that OEC is the most popular subunit, that Heejin is the first girl, and that Chuu has unbelievable vocals, but that shouldn't put them above the rest. And, I always have orbits telling me that it must be because the concept doesn't suit certain members, but from seeing live stages, I know that isn't true. All of the girls are versatile and triple threats. Also, why is the concept repeatedly being written to suit the same members then? It's just a flawed argument. It isn't that some members suit one concept more, it's that BBC doesn't care to let the other members shine. It seems like it is all a popularity contest at this point.
my girl vivian can rock those rap lines chuu got, since she already had a VERY significant role in the bridge. it's like bbc just thought "hehe let's bring rapper chuu back only to ignore yeojin, vivi and gowon ONCE AGAIN". i hate this thought but i sometimes feel that bbc regrets debuting some girls, favoring these girls over other trainees and for that they push them to the corner. i hope that it isn't the case and it's just poor management, but if it's true ugh i would be so mad. i know this is abt vivi but i've noticed that the later girls (kim lip and forwards) have gotten more attention in ot12 releases... except gowon. compare the yyxy solo views, she's severely behind the other three. and for that bbc tries to stick her at the back. this could be an example of the thought i presented before. chuu rapping was cool and all, her rhythm is enjoyable but was it really necessary? you've been pushing gowon and yeojin as rappers in their solos only to give those possible lines to someone who already has many. the distribution would be so so much fair if chuu's rap was given to a girl and heejin's to another, because they have gotten a lot, and i mean A LOT of vocal lines if that isn't enough. i am a fan of vivi's rap style and it makes me really upset that bbc doesn't give her the well-deserved lines in title tracks because "main/lead vocal also raps LOL". it's always heejin (the only 1/3 member in bbc's eyes), oec and chuuves. the forgotten members can really fit those concepts the company has been using but their potential is being wasted because bbc can't hide their obvious favoritism. and why does this favoritism exist? Ngl, back when she debuted with 1/3, it was understandable her lack of lines, she barely knowing the language and being really pitchy when singing, but now..? her pitch has gotten waaay better and she's now able to speak korean pretty good. I mean, yeah, she's still on the weak end when it comes to singing but there are big groups like seventeen or wjsn that have a way better line distribution than loona.
Yes, I agree, she is not the best vocalist and she wasn't chosen for being the main vocalist so that's ok (but Haseul is probably the best and she got so little in Hi high though), but she is visual/center material and a good performer. Of course they don't have to give her extra-difficult lines but she's more than capable of doing "normal" lines, basic rapping, more screentime and being in the front line with some center moments sometimes, there's no excuse to that. 100% fairness is not possible but they aren't even trying to empathize what every girl can do best and they just keep ignoring ViVi + YeoJin and Go Won.
even though vivi barely gets any lines or screentime at all, she's almost always the first member (along w chuu) who non-orbits point out when i show them loona vids or pictures so imagine how powerful she'd be if bbc decided to let her shine and stopped treating her like a background dancer
I've been worried abt this ever since pre debut. Kinda predicted it smh. Bbc yall better straighten things up, if this continues, it will not be good for loona in the long run. In no way this is heejin's fault. You can see how she is one of the most attentive towards vivi, like she loves her so much. The least bbc can do is give her modelling stuff to do or let her do more vlives and stuff.
Agreed. And also its absutely not heejins fault. She’s incredibly sweet and very big on OT12, she’s so humble. All the girls hype up Vivi whenever but I see heejin always praising Vivi and being attentive as well. BBC has to find ways to boost her exposure soon, I dont want to see her succumb to obscurity or the background. Choeviwon loona she barely got lines in 1/3 but it was kinda fair cause she did get a lot of screen time, but yeah she could have gotten more lines in the beside which would have even everything out
@@briannagarcia1807 Pretty much the same I would say. Sorry for being pessimistic but I've always thought Vivi would mostly be ignored when loona finally debuts and here we are. Vivi has nothing that she can specifically be showcased on bc even in loona 1/3 she is overshadowed by heejin in dancing, vocals by haseul and visuals by hyunjin. Then come OEC and yyxy who were much2 more popular and she was kinda forgotten. Plus she's non korean, and has a quite thick accent which I think hinders her to be more outgoing and becomes shy. This makes her less likely to go on shows and Loona is packed with talent so sadly it was kinda inevitable that she is pushed back. Although she might not be the best in anything, she's improved a ton since her solo and it's ashamed that we dont get to see that at all 😢
i really worry about vivi sometimes. she looks genuinely miserable a lot. i know she has one of those angry looking resting faces (i do too, it’s not our fault) but she actually looks like she is super unhappy a lot of the time. and she seems super left out too, like when they won first place... she wouldn’t squeeze her way into the line when they got down to bow, she awkwardly stayed in the back because she probably doesn’t like to speak up. and being the only foreign member has to be so hard, not only does she have to learn the customs and language, but she also would probably be treated worse if she asked for more exposure. obviously we know very little of what goes on behind the scenes, but i’m so worried for vivi. i’m worried that she’s going to leave the group, or she’s going to have an anxious breakdown from the way she’s treated. i know the other girls love and respect her, this isn’t their fault at all. this is BBC’s fault for making vivi feel like less of a person than literally every other member. one of my friends has been watching a few loona stages and didn’t even notice vivi was in the group until the 7th stage!!! what does that say? BBC shouldn’t have added her if they are just going to treat her like this. there were MANY trainees that competed to be in this group, she won a spot for a reason... they need to let her demonstrate her talents.
Kayla agree, i absolutely love her, but it’s extremely concerning how she is being treated, I think the problem is that BBC chose the trainee that most matched with the SOLO, so it looks like they chose her because she was the one that matched the best with her solo, therefore, BBC wasn’t thinking straight about the future, they were much concerned finding someone for the solo and didn’t think right. I think she matched pretty well with So What’s concept, heck she fitted with all the concepts pretty well, the line distribution could have been easily adjusted to be more fair, the stronger vocalists sing, and the others get the rap parts! I hope things get better! And BBC does a better job! There’s so much in where they can improve!

it’s so annoying when some orbits say “it’s because she can’t speak korean well” but “everyday I love you” is her solo and is in korean. or when they say “lines don’t matter” but if heejin, chuu, or kim lip got 2 seconds in a song they would riot. (no hate to heejin, chuu, or kim lip)

hyunjin, haseul, yeojin, vivi and gowon would make a good sub unit ngl... forgotten girls unit. they're strong enough to be a decent group on their own tbh. and a mysterious cute concept for them wouldn't be that bad. but jokes aside, i wonder what's going through bbc's sixteen minds to always give attention to the same girls no matter what? the concept excuse isn't actually valid because hh, butterfly and sw are so different but their distributions aren't. plus, do you remember the full moon cover (heejin, kimlip, choerry, yves and oli)? the preference is clear as water, just add jinsoul and chuu to those five and it's so notorious that these girls are the ones bbc prioritizes. at least if you wouldn't use them for the group's music, there's so many ways to use the forgotten girls' potential. ads, drama osts, acting, covers... just admit you don't trust in their great skills but try to push them to the media and the public! favoritism will end up harming loona as time passes.

I always feel there are four tiers of Loona members The centers: Kim Lip, Yves, Heejin, Chuu The Visuals: Hyunjin, Jinsoul The ones with average treatment: Go Won, Olivia Hye, Choerry The ones who people forget when listing names: Vivi, Yeojin, Haseul These are just my observations. I like all of the members but clearly BBC doesn't.

I'm not an orbit but went down this rabit hole because I noticed in Loona's Paint the Town performance in Queendom, there were two members, I think Vivi and Gowon, that got like ONE scene from what i could see.. barely any screentime at all, even in the group shots they weren't focused on. I just find it sad and I hope they get more lines and screentime soon.
yeah, was vivi and Gowon. They kinda mixed their part with Chuu's high note and they didn't get much screentime which is a shame. She got a little screen time this week when they performed "Shake it"but still FAR from what it should be. Vivi and GoWon deserve better.

i disliked loona, i thought their name was overhyped since I always saw "stan loona"... but one day, I was watching idol room with them and my ult group (fromis_9) They were showing their talents and it seemed that Vivi and Hayoung were able to do the same thing.. after reading the comments i'd like to point some stuff out
- this is a really *big* deal if you're an ot12 stan
- the fact that vivi was able to debut under loona out of all the trainees just shows that she has a very big potential. the diversity in discography proves that each member of loona is versatile. it is just bbc is not really doing a good job at promoting her. so please dont assume she doesnt have good vocals or is a weak dancer.
- please dont assume that she is okay with it. the recent interview (Hidden Track) proves that they are aware about themselves not getting lines. and also is affected by it. so please dont assume that she's fine while getting treated like this.
- i highly doubt she got mistreated because shes a foreigner, but if it's true, then bbc is in big trouble
- maybe the reason shes not talkative during interviews is just her being shy, not that she's not fluent in korean.
- giving 12 members a fair line distribution is a pretty tough job, but its possible. butterfly has the fairest line distribution among the 3 title tracks. of course we cant have a fair distribution every comeback but in vivi's case she has been the bottom 3 of line distributions. the carol 2.0 is the only song with her having lines over 20+ seconds.
- i have to admit that there is some kind of favoritism towards other members
- everyone might have a different opinion on this, but i think chances of vivi leaving loona even after her contract ends is very slim. bbc did a poor job showcasing her talents. she will have a rough time after leaving the company. i think it's best for loona to stay as an ot12. after all, thats their main concept and what defines them.
also highly doubt that bbc would ever do this, but this is what i think what vivi should get for compensation:
- a new solo + a PROPER b-side
- send her to do CFs
- she doesnt necessarily need to be center, just dont make her look like a backup dancer
- maybe 10+ seconds of ACTUAL lines, not adlibs, not the same lyrics over and over ( _i go i go_ ), just *proper* lines

It used to be the same with HaSeul but since X X she's been getting more lines (as she should!) but for me the "trio of underrated" (mistreated) are definitely YeoViWon. Choerry has also had her fair amount of lines (especially during + +), her lines decreased a little bit in X X because I guess they gave some to Olivia Hye, but during # both Olivia's and Choerry's lines were okay. YeoViWon were at the bottom as usual. The only time Go Won got to shine was during Satellite were she got a pretty good amount of center even when she wasn't singing, but that's it. Just because she's popular doesn't mean she isn't being mistreated by BBC
Fish And Noodles Gowon became a center in Butterfly where she was emphasized. Despite of her lack of lines, Gowon was more often in the frontline in every formation than YeoViSeul. I have no hate to Gowon since shes my bias wrecker. But BBC only did her dirty on the line distribution, unlike these 3. Yeojin, one of LOONA’s ace, barely got screentime, always shived in the back in every formation, barely have center time, and less line distributions. Haseul, one of LOONA’s best vocalists, treated as a sub-vocal, barely got some center time where she will be emphasized. Whilst ViVi, who have a very huge potential(According to the members) and a Visual Center Material, Only have 1 second line (Words should I say) in Hi High and So What, Barely getting screentime, Always shoved in the back, Her center time is faster than a blink of an eye, and worse, being treated as a backup dancer, rarely gets attention. And yet, is still passionate in performing on the stage despite of all those things. These three 3 really deserved more. No hate towards the girls, but atleast I hope BBC put up more Chineese/Foreign members in the group(just like in EXO) so that ViVi will have a chance to have a spotlight.

Like I get that she's super talented and she's probably the best all-rounder in Loona but that doesn't mean she always has to get everything. I'm happy for her because she worked just as hard as the others to get there, but why mistreating the rest just so certain members can shine? And it's the same thing with Chuu, Kim Lip, Yves and probably JinSoul. I'm not hating on any of them because I would never be able to, but the others don't deserve the treatment they're getting.

it's not up to their company, it's up to the producers of each song to pick and choose whose voice fits which parts best...this isn't happening on purpose. Despite ViVi working so hard, she's just not making the cut for most parts in songs. She shines on some album tracks at least though.

BBC actually forgot that LOONA don’t have official positions. And now look, despite of them not having official positions, people are now labelling them based on they are seeing. Ngl, but there are no changes in the official positions in their three title tracks. Chuu, still being the main vocalist, Kimlip,Yves, or Olivia still being the lead vocals, Jinsoul, still being the lead vocal/mainrapper, Heejin, still being the visual center,Lead Vocal, and Lead rapper, actually, you’ll notice in each era, they’ll just shuffle and shuffle, overshadowing the members who are also capable of doing those things. Haseul, one of LOONA’s best vocals, eho can also be a main vocalist, Hyunjin,Choerry, Gowon, and Yeojin, who were also capable of being the lead vocal/rapper, and ViVi, who is also capable of doing those since she have a huge potential(according to the members), AND SHOULD NOT BE TREATED AS A BACKUP DANCER! BBC really did dirty to these girls, and hiding their potential and capabilities of these members by not giving them the spotlight they really deserved. pastelskies yyep it is definitely very ironic that even the fans are even questioning who is the member that are singing the adlibs in a members’ solo. Example in this case is ViVi’s EDINY/EDILY. Since ViVi got lesslines and cannot show her same potential in her solo. Some Orbits are limiting her capabilities by saying/thinking that ViVi isn’t the one who’s doing the adlibs, its either Jinsoul or Kimlip. Which really upsets me since BBC isn’t showing everone’s potential and capabilities. Even her debut was shared though? Because she debuted in the same time frame as the 1/3 thing, she had a rapper in both her songs and the video had a boy in it and the other members. She has never had a chance to shine on her own from the beginning :(
The pre debut situation vas due to yeojin that failed her exam, she had to debut in 1/3 technically but first, she was to young to go promote on shows and 2nd bbc decided that she needed to focus on her exam more so that's why we didn't see her in loona tv for a long time during 1/3 era. Therefore bbc had to find a new member and with loona way of chossing members it means a new battle between trainees which might have been done in rush. They needed a 4th member so that's why ViVi debuted in the sub unit before doing a solo.

Natsuki luvr but barely any one of the loona member got screen time, it was like 3, they video main focus was on the models and not the loona member themselves (I think heejin, Olivia and or Yves were the only one to get focus part)
Yeah their predebut project got a bit messy. I'm pretty sure Vivi was supposed to actually be in odd eye circle (they eye thing and her hair was a clear giveaway) but got thrown in 1/3 instead due to them cancelling Yeojin from debuting. Jinsoul herself even said she was supposed to be the 6th member revealed, which is why she was featured on Vivi's song.

the thing that frustrates me the most about how bbc treats vivi is the whole point of the debut project was to show that EACH MEMBER is talented. why would you spend so much time and money with the debut project only to shove a member we KNOW IS TALENTED because you MADE SURE TO LET US KNOW into the background??? and with how many lines heejin/chuu/yves/kim lip get each cb it would be so easy to just cut off a bit of that to give to vivi. i mean i got so mad in so what when chuu got that little rap like you're telling me chuu with all her adlibs and choruses needs that rap as well? we can't give it to vivi so that she gets more than 2 seconds of lines???? (i'm obv not blaming the girls bc it's not in their control but......bbc needs to SHAPE UP)
This is exactly what I have been thinking. I love all the girls, but I am just annoyed when vocalists are getting rap lines on top of singing the majority of the song and high notes. Tell me why Chuu needed that rap, and not Gowon or ViVi or Yeojin. I feel like they just write in those little 2 second speaking lines into the song, just for the sake of keeping some members from getting actual singing lines. Like, if you listen to LOONA songs, all of their group songs have these random speaking parts that occur at every chorus, and the same members get them each time, and besides those little speaking lines, they get no other lines. I'm honestly tired of seeing Heejin/Kim Lip/Jinsoul/Choerry/Yves/Chuu/Olivia Hye getting all of the lines, center time, and screen time.

And, I always have orbits telling me that it must be because the concept doesn't suit certain members, but from seeing live stages, I know that isn't true. i hate this thought but i sometimes feel that bbc regrets debuting some girls, favoring these girls over other trainees and for that they push them to the corner. i hope that it isn't the case and it's just poor management, but if it's true ugh i would be so mad.
i know this is abt vivi but i've noticed that the later girls (kim lip and forwards) have gotten more attention in ot12 releases... except gowon. compare the yyxy solo views, she's severely behind the other three. and for that bbc tries to stick her at the back. this could be an example of the thought i presented before.
chuu rapping was cool and all, her rhythm is enjoyable but was it really necessary? you've been pushing gowon and yeojin as rappers in their solos only to give those possible lines to someone who already has many. the distribution would be so so much fair if chuu's rap was given to a girl and heejin's to another, because they have gotten a lot, and i mean A LOT of vocal lines if that isn't enough.
i am a fan of vivi's rap style and it makes me really upset that bbc doesn't give her the well-deserved lines in title tracks because "main/lead vocal also raps LOL". it's always heejin (the only 1/3 member in bbc's eyes), oec and chuuves. the forgotten members can really fit those concepts the company has been using but their potential is being wasted because bbc can't hide their obvious favoritism.

She’s literally working so hard just to get shoved to the back all the time. Like I love Heejin, Chuu, Yves, Kim Lip and Jinsoul too, but BBC should’ve just made them their own group if they didn’t know how to let the other members shine equally. That’s my problem with big member groups, like I’m attached to all of them now, and it’ll always be ot12 for me, but vivi, yeojin, haseul, and hyunjin are treated like background dancers. They’re too talented to be hidden like that

Ngl, back when she debuted with 1/3, it was understandable her lack of lines, she barely knowing the language and being really pitchy when singing, but now..? her pitch has gotten waaay better and she's now able to speak korean pretty good. I mean, yeah, she's still on the weak end when it comes to singing but there are big groups like seventeen or wjsn that have a way better line distribution than loona.
Yes, I agree, she is not the best vocalist and she wasn't chosen for being the main vocalist so that's ok (but Haseul is probably the best and she got so little in Hi high though), but she is visual/center material and a good performer. Of course they don't have to give her extra-difficult lines but she's more than capable of doing "normal" lines, basic rapping, more screentime and being in the front line with some center moments sometimes, there's no excuse to that. 100% fairness is not possible but they aren't even trying to empathize what every girl can do best and they just keep ignoring ViVi + YeoJin and Go Won.

@@briannagarcia1807 Pretty much the same I would say. Sorry for being pessimistic but I've always thought Vivi would mostly be ignored when loona finally debuts and here we are. Vivi has nothing that she can specifically be showcased on bc even in loona 1/3 she is overshadowed by heejin in dancing, vocals by haseul and visuals by hyunjin. Then come OEC and yyxy who were much2 more popular and she was kinda forgotten. Plus she's non korean, and has a quite thick accent which I think hinders her to be more outgoing and becomes shy. This makes her less likely to go on shows and Loona is packed with talent so sadly it was kinda inevitable that she is pushed back. Although she might not be the best in anything, she's improved a ton since her solo and it's ashamed that we dont get to see that at all 😢
i really worry about vivi sometimes. she looks genuinely miserable a lot. i know she has one of those angry looking resting faces (i do too, it’s not our fault) but she actually looks like she is super unhappy a lot of the time. and she seems super left out too, like when they won first place... she wouldn’t squeeze her way into the line when they got down to bow, she awkwardly stayed in the back because she probably doesn’t like to speak up. and being the only foreign member has to be so hard, not only does she have to learn the customs and language, but she also would probably be treated worse if she asked for more exposure. obviously we know very little of what goes on behind the scenes, but i’m so worried for vivi. i’m worried that she’s going to leave the group, or she’s going to have an anxious breakdown from the way she’s treated. i know the other girls love and respect her, this isn’t their fault at all. this is BBC’s fault for making vivi feel like less of a person than literally every other member. one of my friends has been watching a few loona stages and didn’t even notice vivi was in the group until the 7th stage!!! what does that say? BBC shouldn’t have added her if they are just going to treat her like this. there were MANY trainees that competed to be in this group, she won a spot for a reason... they need to let her demonstrate her talents.
Kayla agree, i absolutely love her, but it’s extremely concerning how she is being treated, I think the problem is that BBC chose the trainee that most matched with the SOLO, so it looks like they chose her because she was the one that matched the best with her solo, therefore, BBC wasn’t thinking straight about the future, they were much concerned finding someone for the solo and didn’t think right. I think she matched pretty well with So What’s concept, heck she fitted with all the concepts pretty well, the line distribution could have been easily adjusted to be more fair, the stronger vocalists sing, and the others get the rap parts! I hope things get better! And BBC does a better job! There’s so much in where they can improve!

They were showing their talents and it seemed that Vivi and Hayoung were able to do the same thing.. Hayoung needed a little bit of help getting her arms to un-cross and Vivi helped her instead of ignoring her since Hayoung also has the same talent as her.. i saw how genuine she was.. its a very small reason but it burst my heart.

vivi siendo de mis ults, cada vez que veo material nuevo de loona (como entrevistas o juegos que les hacen hacer) no puedo evitar sentirme triste porque hasta en eso no le dan screentime ni momentos para hablar; hay personas que aún dicen que "no sabe hablar bien coreano" y por eso "no participa mucho" pero... ¿4 años (o hasta mas si contamos el tiempo pre-debut) en corea y que no pueda desenvolverse bien con el resto de miembros en coreano? ella se la ve feliz con el resto de miembros, pero ¿acaso ella estará realmente feliz de ver que casi ni sale en los vídeos, no tiene ni lineas para cantar y en los programas de variedades ni le prestan atención a ella?
por ejemplo, me dio tanta tristeza ver el relay video de so what en donde vivi solo sale como 3 veces y ya, o ver como incluso los programas en donde se presentan (ejem... mnet) ni sacan fancams de ella (porque normalmente se encuentra hasta atrás, quiero creer que es la razón) y solo sacan de las mienbros mas "populares".

First time seeing this group i get to know all of the members i see their profile and my first though on vivi is like "ah shes so pretty guess shes kinda popular huh" After that i started to recognize each members face in so what mv. Dat time i start to think "wheres dat girl face. Vivi right. Oh is this her ?with mask. Ah yes thats her" and then i watch da line distribution xD i was so shocked lmao. Just hey? Heck this is just not fair seriously ive watch lot of vid about this unfair treat on vivi. If only ive power i would make my vivi get wht she really deserves!!

it's almost impossible to stan vivi because she is always in the background and no one ever acts upon her potential. i've even heard many people say that if she was to drop out/kicked out of loona, there wouldn't even really be a difference besides the storyline of the loona verse and as sad and messed up as it sounds they actually have a point
I’ve been staning LOONA since Haseul debut and stay as I love the concept. But as them debut as whole group. My passion on them kinda off day by day, The #StanLOONA are useless now, people be stanning LOONA but not the member. If next comeback and this kind of thing happen again. I might left this fandom

On their new album (&) their b-side be honest, vivi should have had more lines there, the song really suits her voice to where even some times I would think that she was the one singing. Sadly she didnt get a lot of lines with it either
