I don't buy that story that the nanny told the hotel staff that she was his wife and they let her in. Of course, the hotel staff wouldn't let anybody get in MJ's room without permission, they would be fired if they did that.
According to Frank Cascio, Michael had paranoid behaviors and was quite jealous of the relationship between the kids and the nanny. Probably that was a lie that MJ told Paris to explain her dismissal.

I have a feeling that she did something repeatedly to disappoint/upset/anger Michael for him to not only fire you, but not take your calls, change the number, and not respond to any letters. La Toya mentioned in her book how Mikey was torn about keeping her or firing her for quite some time, but something eventually happened where he said enough was enough with this woman. Must have been the fact she was telling everyone she was his lover/wife and she would be in his bed when he would wake up. She must have been wishing that MJ would eventually show an interest in her one morning and hook up...and turn into a relationship. MJ was not having that though.

Grace was the most important member of MJ's staff. And a lot of other staff tried to use her to their advantage. Especially his manager Raymone Bain who was mismanaging his funds and trying to get sneaky and manipulate and control him. Michael was suspicious of Grace's relationship with Raymone and it was a factor in him letting her go, as he felt she might be in cahoots with those taking advantage of him. It was a very difficult decision for him as both him and the kids were very dependent on Grace and he respected the fact that she did a great job with the kids.

Daphne Barak left a lot out of the interview. Grace tried to help Michael. She was with him for 17 years..so any realy MJ fan would know he would never had kept her around that long if he didn't want her to be. Ladi-s it’s because he was very innocent and people like that we’re always able to fuck him over, you could make the same argument about the doctor, it would also of made sense that if the only type of domestic help he was taking was a nanny that he would just continue on with her for several logistical reasons and because she was good at manipulating him.
