I'm with Jami. They are oblisks. The star pedestal is aluminum. The plate was pewter which is very malleable.

Ok, I must buy that red pitcher. Well, maybe I'm not cuz you just said you are making a change to the pitcher. Another day. 😮 My kitchen and dining area are decorated with red and that beautiful vintage green from the 40's and up. I haven't purchased for quite a while cuz I have so much I've run out of places to display. I rotate my goodies. I'm going to need to move eventually (sooner rather than later 😢) so it's all going in storage or I'm selling. I've thought about eBay, but im chicken to try.

Love this whole video! ❤ question: how do you get the sticker gunk off of the stuff you get? I can’t find a good way to get it off delicate glass/china
I use a heat gun very carefully! You really just need to warm it, so a hair dryer is probably safer.
Lemon oil works great. You can use a heat gun, but I don’t like to use it on China because it can crack it.jamirayvintage.com/products/jrv-lemon-oil
I use Windex, wet it down and leave it for a few minutes and then pull it off with a paper towel. Works great at getting off the sticky stuff. Especially if you don’t try to peel off the sticker first.
How much did you pay for the red pitcher???
How long does it take to let the wax sealer cure/dry? Will it “melt” or pool if left in the sun?
It’s not made to be in direct sunlight and it takes about 30 days to cure completely but you can usually use a piece after a few days
