The Akkeraxe! I have wanted to see that in aktion (!) ever since reading about it in the 80's. Modified Roland GR-505 in case anyone is interested. He cut off the top horn, shaved the neck, changed the headstock shape and had it sprayed black. Pickups are from a strat and a mini humbucker in the neck. Great bassist and drummer too - a fine band!
I was thinking: ' why don't they film the synthesizer player? I hesr clearly synth parts. But then I realised Jan Akkerman must be playing a Roland guitarsynthesizer! This explains also why he isn't playing his usual Gibson Les Paul guitar...
