It’s week 3 of the dance talent show where dancers of any age and dance style compete to win £50,000 and a chance to perform on Strictly Come Dancing.
Leading the charge to discover the greatest dancer are three superstar dance captains - platinum-selling singer Cheryl, Broadway and Glee star Matthew Morrison and Strictly Come Dancing professional Oti Mabuse.
The series is hosted by singer and presenter Alesha Dixon and Jordan Banjo, member of multi-award-winning dance troupe Diversity.
The audience hold the power - if they are impressed by the audition, they can vote to open the mirror, and if 75 per cent of the audience vote yes then the mirror will open and the dancer will make it through to the next stage of the competition, the callbacks. Get ready to see talent from across the world of dance, from ballet to jazz, street to ballroom, contemporary to disco as the dancers give the performances of their lives in the hope of opening the mirror.

Cheryl looked uncomfortable and awkward. It's obvious she rehearsed this til the cows came home and still her moves were clumsy at best. Embarassing😔

I actually forgot that there were 2 women dancing together. I just relished the dance and it is so refreshing to see a same sex couple doing what they love. AND HOW GOOD WAS CHERYL!

I read her book and she wrote about how hard her Parents had to work to get her to a Dance School when she was a Little Girl, they sneered and made fun of her because she didn't come from much. Look what happened to her and look what happened to them, I'm sure that they rued the day they were mean to her. Also I loved the fact that they used Reet Petite by The Late Jackie Wilson who in his own way was the First R & B Male Superstar to cross over like Sam Cooke. His Manager screwed him over so bad he ended up singing for his Supper and when he died, he didn't have a penny to his name.

This program shows how nice British people are. Don't know if I am the only one getting this feeling of warmth. It is common the get the wrong message from media, big corporations and politics from the UK.

You know, i've heard that competitive ballroom dancing even have female pairs with one of the girls dressed up as a boy and take up the role to take the lead.

I think Jennifer had solid good intentions but maybe worded it wrong. what I think she meant was they would be a great inspiration to public. people that are lacking confidence because fear of being judged and rejected. I could be wrong, maybe she did mean role models lol but I would disagree on that because no one actually knows them personally to say they can be role models.
they're awesome but i had my eyes most of the time to the man role dancer who's captivating and amazing. She's a Fred Astaire!
I love this. Everything about it. I didnt even take notice that it was 2 girls dancing together they are just great dancers. And Cheryl and Oti you go girls show em how its done. I just love everything about it. This is how the world should be you are who you are no matter what sex you are.

well matthew's good, cheryl alright and oti is professional ballroom and latin dancer on strictly where she's won with her partners twice in a row (the first person to do so ever)
@@MissAmandaJB95 Oti has left strictly last year and is a judge on Dancing On Ice now. (The performance side with Jordan's brother Ashley Banjo) the skating side with Torvill and Dean as head judges.(Chris one week Jane the week after)

Amazing! Usually in Latin American i tend to watch the lady in dress most bc she dances in high heels and colorful dress, but this time I didn’t notice her AT ALL as the other lady in the suit bombed it! She was extremely talented, those moves!

I think this was incredible and without this we wouldn’t have had Oti and Cheryl go up and dance together. I knew Cheryl was a dancer in her childhood but I didn’t know who actually good she is. She kept up with Oti as well and Oti is such a talented and superb dancer. I have been doing ballroom dancing and would love to have a same sex partner it doesn’t matter who you dance with it’s all about the passion of dancing and doing it with someone you love no matter what gender it is.
