ISTJs are Workers of the society and without them society will collapse , they want simple things A wife /A Gf ,A family ,A peaceful workspace, school space etc...but modern society has failed them in school istj kids are bullied and laughed at ,, they have extreme bad luck with women and no respect in society...no wonder they are destroying themselves by video games and what not .But AI will replace them ....life is horrifying for them for sure.

As an ISTJ I can confirm... Feeling like you failed at your Si... having the situation you were used to fall apart, not knowing what the future is going to look like and not being able to prepare. That's the feeling of grip in the ISTJ

ISTJs' are the most likely to prefer to be alone, huh? This relates to me as all throughout my life I have been asocial to an extreme degree. Are there any other universally shared personality traits that all ISTJs possess? I ask mainly because this could be my personality type and I would really like to know more about myself.

Remains of the day was a such a sad book. Another perfect example of an ISTJ (albeit an unhealthy one) is Soames Forsyte from The Forsyte Saga, one of my favourite books. There is a black and white tv series made in the late sixties that is well worth viewing, even if some of the acting is a little hammy.

Oddly enough, I'm intp but this has been me this past week or so. I feel thorn between things I love and whether or no they are problematic. It disturbs my sleep and makes it hard to enjoy my day. I lose motivation for school, and I'm 15 so its worse. I just feel lonely. Not wanting to let go of my childhood but knowing I might have. Mentally, I feel so done.

Infp here, well Ne is our secondary function so I find myself better to just embrace generating all the possibilities of what can go wrong as long as we can still "fuck it, letss gooo" at the end of our 'thinking session'. Much love from fellow intuitive perceiver, good luck!

if the situation is new and never been in before it gives me this anxiety of not knowing what to do about it which makes me nervous and can’t handle the thoughts of not getting it done and I be in a rush of needing to finish that certain task and if I didn’t I will feel even more responsible about it that will have me leaking some of my emotions before fully suppressing them in the worst thing ever

For those who're familiar with Wildbow's Worm/Ward, I'd say that, while she often gets typed as an ISTJ, I'd say Amy Dallon is more of an ISFJ because of how different her grip stress is to most ISTJs. There are plenty of similarities to this, especially the need to not be judged or patronized to, but unlike an ISTJ, the last thing Amy ever needed was to be left to cope completely alone. While she sought out and demanded solitude, she only spiraled even deeper into self-delusion and impulsivity when she was truly isolated. She may think of herself as an ISTJ because she always saw herself as an arbiter of black-and-white truth, the reality is that when left to her own devices every neurosis and anxiety was only magnified tenfold. Without spoiling anything, the consequences were unspeakable.
