Canadian top trim SX trim has the memory seat feature in the driver's side, not sure why this is not in the US; it's pretty common for this class of cars, at least in the top trim.

That’s a tough one. Haven’t spent any driving time with a Cherokee Summit. Considering they are nearly $70,000 brand new when loaded, the Cherokee has more available features than the Kia Sorento. A 2019 Cherokee Summit for roughly $46,000, definitely has enough features to more than take on the Sorento XLine. The value proposition comes into play when you compare them both new. The Kia is roughly $20,000 cheaper and offers a lot of what you will find with the Cherokee Summit. It’s possible the Sorento is more refined in terms of its technology and build quality. For instance, the center touch screen and gauge cluster in the Kia are more responsive and in our opinion more intuitive. There’s mixed reviews in terms of the Cherokee’s reliability and ride quality. While Kia generally has great build quality and good reliability. However, the Cherokee is certainly more off road capable, and has a more advanced drivetrain and suspension. The Sorento offers 3rd row seating and as mentioned, seems to be more refined in terms of the features that it does offer compared to the Jeep. Again, it’s a tough one for us. It really comes down to what you value. A bit more refinement/quality in certain areas and a third row or extra features and more capability. Certainly spend time driving both and going through the features to see what might suit you better. Hope this helps! Thanks for the comment!

What a shame that Kia chose not to offer Drivers Seat Memory feature on ANY of the 2021 Sorento models sold in the USA, including the SX Prestige. Come on Kia...get this fixed!
Removal of the memory seats is ridiculous, especially for a 45k car. Also, why don't you just tell us the 0-60 time in your tester instead of telling us that it's 2 seconds slower than what? Information we don't have? 🤷♂️
He actually says 2 seconds quicker. Regardless, it’s 2 seconds quicker than the koenigsegg regera, which clocks in at 2.8 seconds, so this Kia is pretty fast.

Yeah. The memory seats seem to be the one gripe everyone is rallying around with the Sorento. Kind of why we pointed it out. Doubt sales will suffer because of it, but it keeps internet chat rooms filled with comments. Curious where you first found out about the lack of memory seats? We did tell you what it was faster than, Sorentos equipped with the base engine. The most powerful engine can theoretically get to 60 mph 2 seconds quicker than crossovers equipped with the least powerful engine. We didn’t tell you the actual 0-60 time because we made an arbitrary decision, based on the point we were making, not to. 0-60 times change depending on the day of the week, location, available traction, weather, altitude, how much food you ate that day, etc. We didn’t find it necessary to give an actual number as the most important point was, assuming all else is equal, the 2.5T is significantly faster than the 2.5. I think they should offer the x line as a lower trim. It's supposed be the off road trim but it's only offered in the highest trim model??

just google it. Most professional reviews have it going to 60 in a little over 7 seconds. Kind of disappointing considering all that torque.
