- A triple motor Ghost airplane has an incredible power to weight ratio and is a blast to fly. Having a second spar handy (fiberglass is fine) can help make the plane fly better as the strain of the 3:1 power to weight ratio can cause issues... especially when it crashes.
just bought the last one.
What most people will miss is, this video is not being fast forwarded, this is actually how quick Alex normally builds his models..... ;-)
Have you seen my build on the RMRC Mini Recruit... let's just say it fit on IG without an issue. lol
can't believe you caught it like that.... epic build....
Neither can I. First try I missed. Second try I got it.
I just feel like I need one in my life
👍 Great Video mate . Cheers from Australia .
Cool build, I’d really like to get into wings but I’d probably wreck it every time I tried to fly!!
I wreck mine at least 3 times per battery pack ;)
Lol!
Hey Alex, just got the kit and am wondering why you cut the spars instead of bending them along the length of the entire wing? It seems like it would be stronger this way. I know our group has a couple people building these planes and this was the one comment they made about it when they were building.
I agree, there's no good reason to cut the main spar in two if you can bend it, unless it might deform the wing while the glue is drying. I built this one according to instructions. With a little luck I won't need another.
@@devinviable I don't have one of these yet. Is the spar channel pre-cut? If not, cut the channel straight across and then don't cut the spar in half.
@@twinturbostang it is preformed but nothing is stopping you from cuttng your own channel.
Wow great job
Before Christmas maybe?
awesome.
How much does the dual motor version weigh?
This will be my first plane I hope
Bit fast and hard to control for that. I would recommend some kind of trainer aircraft
@@KnowledgePerformance7 my first one I build
@@thefpvyawthority8106 sorry I thought you meant first ever 😁
Go VAS Gremlin Biplane and build this as your second.
@@Bushwackerinpa I miss my by plane ua-cam.com/video/YThYiRVp79U/v-deo.html
Awesome,are they available yet ?
New to plane and wings. I see you mentioned it's a blue arrow servo but size is need for this craft?
All you need is a very small servo for this. 3-5 gram servos are sufficient.
@@CAGreve1231 thank you so much!
great video, were did you get the fancy glue gun ? keep on your GREAT work
It is a SureBonder temperature controlled glue gun. I also use a better quality glue stick which makes all the difference in the World and the temperature control makes sure the glue bonds to the foam without melting it. I get my stuff from glu-stix.com, but there are several suppliers. The glue is called "dura-tac".
where to buy? in europe?
Europe is a tough sell for us in the United States. THey won't carry anything that they cannot make a 50% margin.
... a shame. i dont think i want to pay expensive shipping fees ...
@@derrogers readymaderc isn't too bad for us in EU, I just bought a vas wraith micro today and paid $10 to UK
