Sounds like sour grapes. The NCAA has made billions of dollars on the backs of college athletes. Why not in a fair market can these athletes have a share of that success? You have the #2 recruiting class this year, so what lol. For more than a decade you've been flying in on school campuses in a helicopter and private jets to recruit players. Saban is realizing the playing field is leveling out and this is his segway to leave Bama. Watch what I tell you.
Because the NCAA and the schools themselves should be the ones paying back those very billions they've made off the backs of the players, if anybody. Not 3rd party entities that have nothing to do with anything. NIL is a responsibility and accountability deflection. It allows the corrupt NCAA to shut people up without having to pay a dime. But it's capitalism at its finest.
No it's not leveling yu gotta get the player to fit your system not pay for a guy just because he's a five 🌟
So Alabama isn't buying players. GTFOH
You need to learn the differences between the university and boosters. There is absolutely no evidence for the University of Alabama paying players. If you want to assume so, then you are more than free to. That is fine, but Texas a&m is doing it in broad daylight since there is a grey area in the rules.
Two observations:
1. Nick looks so annoyed when he is not talking. You can tell that he has no respect for Nate Oats. He knows he's the big dog on this stage.
2. Nick knows alot about paying players because he's been doing it under the table for years. He knows exactly how the other teams are doing it almost like he's done it before. I'm surprised the host didn't ask a follow up question like "how do you know so much about how the other schools are doing things?"
I hope he losses his job Saban
