I rescued two little “ poodles” almost two years ago after my two dogs died during the “pandemic”. The “poodles” turned out to be yorkies. Buddy(the boy) had been abused at some point in his life (he’s about 7 according to the vets) and has no lower jaw and is blind in one eye. And his partner CeeCee is tiny, as in very tiny bit no signs of trauma. I was concerned about Buddy (yes he’s named after a particular elf that we watched the night he came home) due to his physical issues. Long story short, Buddy is the highlight of my day. He knows me better than I do. He combs my beard, calms me down and comforts me if he even thinks I’m upset. I lost my Dad to dementia Christmas 2020 and Buddy hasn’t left my side since. He is my Velcro. Both are amazing beings ( they are not animals to me). He guards the bathroom door when I enter it and will not allow anyone CeeCee nor the cat to come near. He definitely has a napoleon complex going on. He seems to think he is a bull mastiff not a tiny yorkie. He will gum you to def if he thinks you’re coming towards me. I don’t think I would have made it through the past two years if it wasn’t for them. They have become very special entities to me. I had a Sheltie many years ago that I guided out her mama and held in my hands as she crossed the bridge, I never imagined another dog would ever replace her, but then prances Buddy and CeeCee into my life and I wouldn’t trade them for a trillion dollars. Petals human grandma once told me to mirror dog. And I now understand completely what she ment.
Yeah, it's true that they stay with you when you are sick or feeling down... I remember a couple of years ago I had a very bad migraine, that I had to stay in bed for almost 3 days and my dog never left my side. The only time he left my side was to go eat, drink water or go for a walk. For me, dogs are earth angels.
8 month old German Shepard. Overly protective and today was her first experience with a skunk. She does enjoy pushing all my limits. But in the end, i wouldn't give her up. Only had her a few weeks, she was destined for a shelter. She is stubborn, but very loyal
You know what I wish for as well as alot of people around the world wish for? That our furry friends live longer to be with us for all of the good things they do for us. And cause we consider them as a family members.
As a dog owner that had pets from birth this was rather funny. Got asthma, dandruff allergy and all the other allergies listed, and even heart disease. Still love my furry friends though, even if those particular points did not apply to me. I am continually amazed by how intuitive our dog is, she definitely knows when I'm sicker than usual and when I was at my worst she'd constantly bug me til I lied down and rested, and then she'd keep watch over me while I rested.
Last March I adopted a shelter puppy. In August I showed my Dr. three months of daily blood pressure readings that were not only normal but actually below normal to the point that he took me off all BP meds and since then I have stayed in the normal range.
First dog in 1997. I have had 2 dogs since 2000. Dogs need a buddy. Now on #5 & 6. KoKo and Mercí. Truly a blessing to take care of 6 - all female Pitbulls. Made Covid stay at home orders easier too.
All of the above. Nasty little dog uplifted me the greatest when I woke up from an acute bout of depression. We must offer special consideration to all canines, to qualify as a companion of any worth at all. One knew aboit a family member who field shortly before they passed in hospital. Dogs can be very uncanny at times, far beyond the levels of instinct we try to interpret them for. Breeds don't matter so much as the bond. Is it God or Dog I sometimes wonder.
My wife told me one day “Sometimes I think you love that dog more than you love me.” I said “I love you more Baby, but I’ve never seen you jump up and down when I come home from work. He does it every day.”
We haven't had a dog for almost 6 years, but when My mom passed 3 months ago I cried all the time. I purchase a golden doodle miniature. Every since I purchase this beauty she keeps me going, and she makes me laugh. I truly needed her. I still miss my mom, and I will always will, but with my puppy I don't cry as much. My Lacy Mae loves to be outside and I walk her , and I also need that to.
It’s just kind of a bummer they have to give up 7 years to our 1, gosh I wish they lived for 40-50 years so you’d only have to have a couple instead of, well, you know. What a gift they really are, we have 3,all rescues we love them dearly. 🐕 ✌️🇺🇸
❤My dog. Is my hero one night. While sleeping my electricstripe that I had my tv plugged started to smoke and burn. My dog jumped off the bed and got me awake I called 911 and we got. Out of the house . The house. He`s my hero
So true, a few years ago my doctor put me on pain meds for a couple months following a bout of chronic pancreatitis, and when I stopped taking them I went into withdrawal (the worst thing Ive ever experienced) and our dog stayed in bed with me and cuddled with me thru it all, the night sweats cramps body aches mood swings etc... she was the biggest comfort and the sweetest little girl ever. I will love her forever for that, and I will never forget the kindness and unconditional love she gave me when I needed it most. She was 1 year old havanese, at the time, and shes just as sweet now. I would do anything for her.
My blue heeler rescued me. I have two daughters one that won’t speak to me that lives in Virginia and one in Washington state that rarely calls. GOD blessed me with this dog. My boy Titan is a pit that gives me hugs and loves all the time..he is my life..I've got 2 said goodbye to 6.. Dogs are amazing and awesome.. My boys are my life..
My Major. My ex military Belgium malinois shepherd dog is my best buddy ever. He looks after me, my home , my sanity and all he asks for in return is what I willingly give, love , fun, food , entertainment, trust , loyalty and exercise. Best dog I've ever had , formidable, intuitive, smart, goofy, protective and he let's me know if someone isn't a good person or if a situation isn't right. Sticks to my side like glue and makes me feel so safe. He loves cuddles and so do I. For me life without a dog is a life not worth living!. They keep us sane in a world full of insanity. ❤
Like someone said ( I don't remember who} I just wish they could live longer! I've had so much pain when my dogs died! My beloved sheepdog was only four years old! I still hurt for him. He was so wonderfull in every way! Why is it that people live longer and longer and dogs don't???????????????
I love dogs more than anything in this world! But my current dog seems to do everyting wrong! He doesn't greet me when I come home,he doesn't comfort me when I'm sad( some of my other dogs did. And I've had several dogs of all kinds of breeds). As far as my health goes: I have had high bloodpressure for years and years. Also have heartproblems. Am not very healthy in other ways aswell. So,as far as this goes I,m not a good example. But my dog is a rescue and has had a hard life (don't know anything about it. But he's from Spain. And was probably living in the wild somewhere. He was ever so skinny when he came to me. And it is clear by the way he acts now that he was used to hunting(to get food) and is scared of many things(including other dogs). Which means walking him isn't too easy... Yes,he loves to cuddle up in bed(as do I), but that's where three biting-incidents took place. He bit me in the face and I had to go to hospital for it. BUT! I still love him. He shows me he loves me too,by a small lick now and then and by nibbling my nose. By rubbing his face against mine(and leaving lipstick-traces on his nose). He also looks into my eyes a lot and hates it when I leave for shopping. And, if it wasn't for him, I would lie on the sofa all day long and read. As much as I hate walking,he makes me do it. Which of course is good for me. And when I look at him(he's beautiful) and stroke him it does make me feel better. And I allways tell him, like I did my other dogs,:" baby, we are making mother and child hormones now! " And that feels good!No matter how hard it is with a rescue: I,m glad I ,m giving him a good life .And I love him to bits! I wish I could get some comments about how other people with rescue-dogs feel. But I know this is an American site and you probably don't have any experiences(well,at least not from countries where dogs are treated so badly). But please, please be good to your dogs, wherever they come from! They are so worthy of it! Like the former lady said: without a dog in my life I wouldn't no what to do!
Yes. My Bubby was always very close to me and trying to “hug” me when my son died. He knew. And when I was fighting cancer this year my dog would stay close and not jump on me. If I was in the bathroom sick he would check on me! I love him so much 🥰🫶🏽🐾
My daughter dog,9 months old, but I'm more than my daughter spending times together, so,yasi is female,& changed my life, both of us missing so much each other, because when I'm going my house, yasi & me believe crying, now this is problem, my daughter saying, my dog 2much attached u,always waiting 2 u come, ..
My poor angel doesn't even care when I cry now...not her fault. I've cried nearly every day since I lost my childhood best friend.....9 years ago. I know, it's not healthy to grieve for so long. I cry when I think of him & I think of him often. Crying as I write this.
Just an odd observation, but isnt that the ebola virus floating around at 05:17? Anywho, cute video! My dog definitely makes me happier and healthier. I hope I have made him equally as happy and healthy.
Just looking at my cute dog, makes me smile. I take her all over with me, and enjoy being with her, as much as she loves going with me. She is God's gift to me.
I find dogs and babies tend to feel more emotional with women, my dog loved me and always slept in my bed , just never gave me any comfort when I wad hurt or sick , just did it for my mom , so thsts why I say their more entered with women , but thet could judt be some ppl experience?
Many of these tips are just the same thing again but in other words. You could probably condense it into just five points in total. I consider this clickbait.
If someone tied your favorite dog to a tree out of reach of you, the one you feed, hug, kiss and love on everyday, the one you raised from a pup to we'll say 8 to ten years and the one you thinks loves you the most. And then proceed to rip you apart in front of the dog till you were dead. Then cleaned up the mess, came outside with a bowl of water, and some decent food, and baby talked it and did the same the next, that dog would now become the murderers dog. They are pack animals, they are fun and good animals, but all im saying is they dont think like humans. Now if you are decent person, and someone did the same thing to a person that you think loves you, made them watch you get beat, that person is gonna wanna kill him no matter what he does for him. Thats the difference between humans and animals.
I went through a particularly hard time and my beautiful golden would bring all of his favorite toys and put them at my feet, then he’d follow up with his head in my lap. He had given me everything that made him happy
Dogs are awesome. My dog has taught me a lot, changed my life. Treat them well and with respect, you will get all that back in return and more.

I love my dog and even neighbors dog wants to live with my dogs...
LOVE How You Repeat Stuff but just change what you say. This List of 15 is actually a List of 7 or 8...
BTW the video graphics of the bloodstream shown in this video contains the Ebola virus strand.
The part of dogs cuddling and caring for you when you are sick actually gave me tears!
I find dogs and babies tend to feel more emotional with women, my dog loved me and always slept in my bed , just never gave me any comfort when I wad hurt or sick , just did it for my mom , so thsts why I say their more entered with women , but thet could judt be some ppl experience?
I’m 70, alone and get few visitors. My Weimaraner is always there. Life is good.
Many of these tips are just the same thing again but in other words. You could probably condense it into just five points in total. I consider this clickbait.
New drinking game: Take a shot every time this channels says "oxytocin". Actually, on second thought, don't do that. You'll end up dead lol.
There was a lot of overlap. More like 6 things. Not a bad list, but redundant.
Yes to all that you mentioned; but for me, the fact that he makes me unbelievably happy is THE reason that I love him, and THE reason that I have him.
Good video, but simular things were said about cats. Which is more true???
I went through a particularly hard time and my beautiful golden would bring all of his favorite toys and put them at my feet, then he’d follow up with his head in my lap. He had given me everything that made him happy
Adog,is,amans,best friend,better,than,human,beings,ilove,my,dog,so,muchhe,only, apuppy he,is,hard,work,but, I really,love,him💚
What? Dogs can't cry tears of anything, they don't have tear ducts and lachrymal glands to tear.
They're the best of everything.
Me an my dog switched roles im the one who developed separation anxiety 😂
My rescue dog saved my life, when my sugar levels was low she got me to a save place and stayed with me for hours
Depends on the car and the setup. Real cars arent perfect like video games
Why don't you just do the 10 reasons and not repeat and overlap your points?
I am going to get a dog soon so I need this
When I’m sad my dog jumps on my head 😂 and puts trash on me so I’ll be hsppy😊
AKA..dogs are perfect. 😆
