ha! i'm also in salem, also trying to figure out how to build an acoustic, trying to get by without the proper tools...
My guitar is 11 years old and because of its oldness it has a bigger action than before. I just want to ask the is it possible to install truss rod in it to adjust its action?
most guitars built within the last 60 years have a truss rod as standard. Unless you built it yourself, in which it would be possible for a luthier to remove the neck and fingerboard and install one. It would cost a lot though as it's not an easy job.
