Congratulations for this truly great video. The whole process was very well presented and explained, easy to follow and reproduce, down to the relevant points, no fancy blah-blah, really really good job!!!
I learned a great deal and also realized what I was doing wrong in the past.

Thanks Steven! I am glad it helped you.
Awesome
Good Tutorial, Thank you so much
I am glad to hear you found it helpful!
Thanks for you wonderful tutorials. Everything you make is so pretty! So would we need to host the published document?
It would be lovely if you do one that shows a music score with little circle icons in different places in the score and upon clicking, a video and description would pop up:) that is what I need to do..
Hi. Thanks for the great tutorials. Doing an interactive photobook ePub with 12 chapters, 400 pages, a thousand photos, a dozen videos. Is there be a filesize and quantity limitation for ePubs being exported from InDesign?
Great info. For some reason my video isn’t showing up at all so I can’t preview the play. Driving me slightly crazy haha
Hey Lauren! Make sure the video you're importing into InDesign is MP4.
Can i use indesign to arrange party seats plan ( each table will be button to show table details) but how i can change color of button and add names in text field after puplishing online. Not by me
Hi Angelo! Thank you this is a greatfull tutorial. I would like save an interaktive pdf from these document, but when I save Interactive pdf, the videos does'nt start. What do I do wrong?
Ravasz, it will know longer work in Interactive PDF like once before. This is because Adobe is phasing out Flash. However you can use the Publish Online feature or Export as EPub (Fixed Layout). The latter, you can view using Adobe Digital Editions, Apple Books or your favourite e-reader.
@@AngeloMontilla thank you.
Any example pdf's? I'm interested in learning from you. It's just one of those things I'd like to see for myself as well.
Hey Louie! Stick around and you'll learn a lot here. Unfortunately, I don't teach much Interactive PDF as it's not a platform used much anymore with Adobe phasing out Flash support. There are other options though, which I cover in length.
@@AngeloMontilla As long as I get to tinker with an interactive pdf myself I'll be happy. Do you have any handy?
Can you use this for Tv interactive menu
That's a great question. I have never tested it on a TV screen, but as long as you're viewing it on a web browser (directly on the TV or using a laptop connection) I don't see why it wouldn't work. It won't work as an EPub on your TV. You'd need an e-reader for that.
Photoshop is where you play, Illustrator is where you create, After effects is where you imagine and after running into you, InDesign is where you assemble it. Like the Avengers End Game.
Hi Angelo, I would like to ask you if I have to export the interactive layout in pdf, acrobat asks me for the flash player but as I think you know from 31 December it will no longer be usable as I solve the problem.
I wish ACROBAT didn't ask for the flash player, I make videos using After Effects and then insert them.
Last request from which version of acrobat is interactivity compatible .....thanks
Hi Vince. You're correct, Adobe will no longer support Flash after Dec. 31. The solution is publishing for online (HTML5) or exporting for ePub. If you think about it, an ePub reader is just like viewing an interactive PDF in Acrobat. You'll just have to train yourself to use that platform from now on. Use Adobe Digital Editions or Apple Books if you're on a Mac. Take care.
You have really good ideas what’s I don’t like is that you don’t do a preview of how it will look at the end at the beginning of the video, for that reason I have to dislike this video
