And here I thought the myelin sheath was something that was just there, like enamel on teeth, to possibly be worn down or damaged but not built up -- this is a total game changer. Thank you Dr. Lisle and Dr. Tolosa! 💗

Dr. Lisle (and Gustavo), thank you so much for this webinar! Have applied this knowledge to parenting 5 kids, but didn't even *consider* how it can apply to my plant-based health goals! Awesome.

Loved this talk. Wrap the myelin sheath!! I am writing that on a big piece of paper and pinning it to my board so I can see it everyday. Thank you Dr. Lisle - you are such a great teacher! And thank you Gustavo!!

Can we invite him again for this lecture? The audio was breaking down. I really want to listen to this over and over again.

Does this apply to learning a foreign language too as an adult too? Or is it more about intelligence?

I watched so many videos about the myelin sheath after this 😂 but one video said that you had to practice the thing “perfectly” over and over again. Which doesn’t make sense when you think about how anyone learns anything

I agree that we are partly signalling to a mate when we use our talents but I do dislike it when language is used that implies that's the only reason we do what we do. It's different for everyone but people continue to do these things after their spouse passes away or if they will never marry. Other social reasons ? Maybe. But human beings are complicated and can't be reduced to atheistic theories and formulas like maybe animals can, and in some cases can't. Look at dolphins. Pretty fascinating animal.
