I'm 68 and wear glasses for pool but my neck won't let me get that low comfortably anymore and yes it makes aiming more difficult.

Good info to think about. I guess I went through all my stroke mechanics at one point or another. But it's good to hear other views. one thing I will say about getting down real low is it's a little harder to generate power. Without more elbow drop body English etc. Sometimes coming up off the queue with my chin seems to be more consistent for me for whatever reason. I went through phases where I'm super low on the shaft. Everything seems to work for a while until it doesn't LOL. How do you feel on eye dominance. My left eye is 20/20. My right eye is 20/30 or 20/40. I've tried the contacts I have astigmatism so they move a lot and bother me more than it's worth the correction. I tried several pairs of glasses. Seems not worth the hassle of looking over them I even got a bigger pair. But when playing for hours they create pressure points. And there is some optical illusion distortion. I actually am a right-handed player and right eye dominant but I have since switched to my left eye and have good results with that. It's kind of strange because I can shoot from the center of my vision center center of the left eye outer of the left eye it really doesn't matter just as long as the balls look good. one difficulty I have is when extremely jacked up or jump shots I pretty much have to use my right eye which is fine but it does create some inconsistencies in my aiming. I went through a phase where I was shooting all cut shots say to the right with my right eye and cut shots to the left with my left eye. It actually works quite well. That feeling where the balls look right is easier to accomplish when you're right eye on certain shots or your left eye on certain shots I was trying to achieve the best of both worlds. If both my eyes were similar in clarity I probably would still be doing this but my left eye is sharper so I've decided just to use my left eye. I also know that my eye isn't always in the exact same spot on thinner cuts it may move more to the outside of the ball so that I can imagine the contact points a little better. Just wondering what your thoughts are you may have a video on this already.

@@TimZ007 I will be glad to help you out with everything you mentioned above. There is lots of give and take. If you change one thing then it often messes ups something else. I play with contacts or "pool glasses" Yes, it's very important to have your head in the same place every time so you get the same visuals. I have a McDermott Video on Stance you should watch. It is hosted on their page. Eye dominance isn't always based on what you are seeing out of each eye by 20/20; 20/30 etc. There is a test for you to do. Corrective lenses change all of that. You need to consider enrolling at Virtual Billiard Academy. Give me a call and I will be glad to go over all of the options and give you a free consultation. You can get a year of pool lessons for a fraction of the cost. Sorry I didn't give a full reply last time. Most of you response was hidden until I saw that button to "show more" I honestly did't see what you wrote until now. LOL My number is 606-669-8401. I will be available all day.

Valuable content, well edited, very poor audio

I'm working on the audio portion. Looking for a BlueTooth option but apparently there aren't any decent ones you can use with the standard camera options on your phone. Guess I am just going to have to record the audio separately and sync in in Final Cut Pro.
