Do you think the wheels are too small for grass runway?

Not if the grass is cut low its should be fine with take off flaps

Me either! Haha. It was a handful trying to fly it. It was fighting me the whole time but I'll get it dialed in and get better flights with it.

Great Video. I use to own an A- 10 similar to this with no flaps, no retrack, and basically stock cheap motors. The Performance was just awful. I had to have someone hand launch it for me even from short grass. You may want to try Soft field takeoff & landing technique with some n Degree of flaps, usually less than 10 degrees of flaps but not full flaps (the drag is just too much ) This is what is done on full scale airplanes. Also a small headwind really helps shorten the takeoff roll by a lot. Bigger tires also help but you have retracts. But of course your CG may be too nose heavy, and you have to fix that first.

Yea CG was the main problem here other than that she'll be fine. I might however switch out the edfs for XFly edfs which would definitely give it more power.

The Xfly A-10 flies better, it's lighter. Freewing's A-10 is overloaded. With the flaps it need way less speed to takeoff.
