Should be all Duels. Hopefully i i didn't miss any. This is essentially is a sequel to my Clone Wars Duel video i did last year.
Oh and i cut some parts of the duels. I wanted to avoid copyright so rip

Yup. He attempted to kill the apprentice the same way he did the master. But Obi Wan studied that fight over and over again in his head, so he knew exactly what maul was attempting and used it to finish Maul. "It's like poetry, sort of. They rhyme."

@@mrcruz6529 Yes he did. After the death of Qui Gon the Jedi started to analyse this new threat in practicing how to fight against maul's specific fighting style.

We really needed a new inquisitor in season 4. Or Vader.
Star Commander they needed to tell the story of Anakin as Vader and his secret apprentice/adopted son

Star Commander pretty much all the inquisitors shown in this show is dead and those seen in something like Fallen Order are either 1. Badly injured or dead

In the Vader vs Ezra and Kanan duel, we really see how powerful Vader is compared to regular Jedi (or Sith, i guess?). He was barely even trying, easily thwarting Kanan and Ezra and making them look downright sluggish. It gives us clarity on how he massacred the Jedi Temple, and this is after he got burned and limbs chopped off.
Dude Kanan is such a badass
4 seasons and 10 minutes of lightsabers, that is sad.

they're cutting out a lot of the commentary. if you were to do the same for the movies you would get a similar effect.

I love the effects of the red light sabers in certain scenes of the show. Kinda gives off a little dark side vibe.
the one thing about rebels that bothered me the most is everybodies lightsabers were way too thin, , close ups just didnt have as much substance for me without the normal sized saber blades, idk why, it was fine in movement but i just couldnt get past that for some reason? ^^:
The original lightsabers would be thin but they later changed it that why the lightsabers in rebels are thin

I like the thin sabers. It shows just how strong the blade is and that it doesn't need to be thick to be a powerful weapon.
What i love about this show its that it respects its past unlike ehem... sequel era
Like sabine at first i was like how is a theater kid a mandalorian but when her ark came it explained why she was who she was and tho she is not as good as her ancestors she still cool and it makes sence too

Omar Guerra at least the show tried its best with the imitations Disney gave them like it being a kids show even though it based in the ‘DARK TIMES’, something obviously the show writer and all could have done well but had to force in jokes and limit actual dismemberment and all. I wouldn’t even be surprised if they didn’t originally want the main character be a Jedi and all
No it doesn’t. Ashoka is wasted and it’s just terrible
I'd say
1) Vader vs Ahsoka
2) Maul vs the Inquisitors (When he kills them)
3) Maul vs the Inquisitors (1st time)
4) Ahsoka vs the Inquisitors (1st time)
5) Sabine vs Gar Saxon
Number 5 is really cool because we see two non force sensitives using lightsabers and moving based off of pure instinct and fighting knowledge rather than with the precognition of the Force.
If only what you said about #5 were still true.
I like how pretty much every fight is chopped up except Maul and Kenobi
I mean it's the LAST lightsaber duel of the series and the LAST Duel of a generation long Rivalry

Kanan had a clear shot at ending the fight via striking the Grand Inquisitor anywhere on his body. But he chooses to back away and let the fight continue.

At the time kanan was inexperienced but grew after he killed him in their next fight
I like how we can see the development of Ezra and Kanan's lightsaber prowess. At first, Kanan was still struggling to even keep up with the Grand Inquisitor, and slowly improves that by the finale, he manages to defeat him. Ezra was almost dead weight during that same fight, but by mid-second season, they both have improved enough that they can easily match the inquisitors, and Kanan losing his eyesight let him tap into the Force even more, even managing to best best Maul in a fight.
well he never really beat Maul, Maul just once again showed us his arrogance.

Not kanans face, it looked off but inquisitors face looked normally weird as in normal but he's a sith, they always make weird faces

Its funny that after season 2, we see Sabine have more lightsaber duels than Ezra or Kannan.
Even tho season 4 was good I do wish we could have seen zeb duel with his bo rifle more
The callus vs zeb duel in season 1 definitely could have been better with more encounters between the 2

Lightsabers are more like glowing baseball bats in this show. Kanan still has a head and an arm.
I wish this inquisitor could have struck out on his own amd found sith Holocron or something. He was this strong with his powers supressed

Should've cut the guy's arm off. This show is so weak. Literally one time in the entire series, ONE TIME has a lightsaber doing any harm besides a flesh wound been on screen. And it wasn't even real, it was in a vision.

Unknown 2 his upper arm didn't have any armor on it.
That would’ve just repeated the events that took place in Revenge of the Sith if his arm was cut off

It's not just that, but in many Star Wars games Vader is shown to be resistant to force push.

I am okay with the amount of saber fights there are because the show doesn't need lots of flashy fights to be watchable. It relies more on character and storytelling rather than mindless fighting.

In addition, the show is placed in a time where there where almost no lightsaber users, they added the inquisitors to solve this, but if they made every episode a figth against the inquisitors it would be boring, they also couldn't use vader too much because he is supposed to be way stronger than Kanan and Ezra and he couldn't kill them. They put Maul, Ahsoka and the darksaber to add a little more variety to the figths, but anyway, that's not the point of the show

They kinda wasted sabines dark saber training. Considering she just gave it to Bo katan. That said, i am team ezrabine. So the ending of the show worked for me.
Ironically I only enjoyed seasons 1 2 and a little bit of 3

Kanan is a beast. As someone who never watched rebels I don't understand the Ezra hype. All his duels seem mid. Though I will say he is definitely skilled
the "ezra hype" (barely seen it myself) is coming from the fact that the only time we see ezra lightsaber duel post season 2 is against a possessed Kanan and Sabine. We never got to see his new lightsaber skills in action other than against laser beams from storm troopers

Why are the lightsabers NEEDLE LOOKIN in Rebels but THICK in Clone Wars......Hmmmmmmm
Unpopular Opinion: I kind of like the thin blades. They look more pristine and show the raw power of the blades. Also if you look at the official art for star wars even before the movies, the sabers were thin. They just couldn't do it that way at first due to technology. Clone Wars folowed the movies, Rebels followed the original concept art. Fun fact: the original concept art is where they got Zeb's charcter too.

I always hated the lightsaber fights in Rebels. The sabers are so damn skinny and the characters move so janky. The entire animation of them swinging the saber is like two frames and then they pause every time the sabers collide, even if one character is in midair. It just looks awful.
Rebels fights are not good, and the lightsabers being skinny noodles doesn’t make it better, it’s so disappointing, the lightsaber sounds just didn’t feel right with the way the sabers looked at all

Lightsabers should not be able to be used without the force a normal swordsman can not pick up a lightsaber and use it... each form is a manipulation of the force a lot of people don’t know light sabers can’t be used without being force sensitive. So force sensitive vs non force sensitive it should be no competition...
