We chose Over The Rainbow when she "departed" for the last time as it was her favourite song. It was very poignant. I also recorded the full version which is on my YT channel.

Well I am 81 years old and saw some of the originals and Renee Zellweger is right up there with the best. You would not want to hear some of the old recordings because they just don't capture the person. This does. So it is great, and stands on its own.

Even though I wasn't born until two years after Judy died, I will always remember that date (June 22), because that was when my youngest nephew came into the world, fifty years to the day Judy left it. He's been here before, I can tell. When he opened his eyes, he was just so calm. He hasn't heard any Judy Garland songs yet, but hopefully he'd love "Over The Rainbow."
