VFW opens doors to the public to survive amid decreasing memberships

Five years ago, there were 6,160 VFW Posts worldwide. The number today has dropped below 6,000, according to VFW National Headquarters. There are 294 posts remaining in Ohio, 81 in Kentucky and 133 in Indiana.

Went to go help out at my local Post & my first meeting they talked about locking the doors. These places are dying & it's sad. Sad for communities, but saddest for our Veterans
