In 1 Corinthians 11:17-34, Paul rebukes the Corinthian church for turning the Lord’s Supper into a divided and selfish gathering. Instead of reflecting Christ’s sacrifice, their pride and divisions distorted its meaning. Paul calls them-and us-to approach the table with humility, recognizing it as a sacred proclamation of the gospel and a means of unity in the body of Christ.
