I remember watching the ABs in 2009 was a very tough period for them. These losses really made the Abs rethink their game plans, selections, etc. The losses really changed the way they played. No matter what happens, the pre-talk between fans, the respect both nations have is something that is admirable in world sport. Hope to see a good game tonight
2009 SA team Wat a great team. Kicked our butt 3 times clean sweep. Still hurts to dis day.GOOD LUCK SA.MUCH RESPECT
We never knew how big these guys are jo Jean is huge
Wow three in a row that year what a team
Man its so nice when the players carry themselves, Jean does great 👍 and so proud.
Greatness!
I was at this game! Amazing
Only Bryce Lawrence could stop these Springboks from winning the 2011 World Cup
When Jean injured himself he would regain fitness while playing touch rugby at the Belleville Touch Rugby league. I can remember playing against him once. He was so damn big but able to make you miss so badly. One of the great centres of test rugby.
One of the best springbok
Best south African player ever
Best rivalry!!
And ... the post match image of McCaw shaking his head
Nice guy
Great team back then.
🔥🔥🔥
Still don't know how this team didn't win 2011 WC. That's the one that got away for the Boks.
The All Blacks won the World Cup in 2011……..because they deserved to.
Got robbed. Everyone knows
@@shaheendanger boo hoo
@@SuperEdge67 we got robbed otherwise we would have won
That team was brutal.
2009 Springboks vs 2015 All Blacks?? Who would win???
Jean was good, no doubt. The king of interceptions. Sadly I also believe his lack of leadership cost us the game against Japan back then, say what you will, but watch that game and notice his body language.
Didnt respect the japanese. went countless times forthe corner seeking the bonus point when easy 3 points was on offer
Rockokoko taken out in the air. Should’ve been a yellow card to the South African player.
Game was different then
