sounds and looks amazing to me
Im a bit of a fence sitter with squier range guitars, some seem particularly cheap and others shine for the money. Too my ears and eyes this sounds and looks beautiful, a very nice guitar, eager to try one out at some point.
The Classic Vibe series are very good!

A while back I sold my Epiphone Casino to help buy a Fender Telecaster. Missed that Epiphone ever since. It is/was a great guitar. I just bought the CV Starcaster and it's really more fun to play than the Epiphone. I feel better now about the Epiphone. Nice review. Thanks

The Epiphone I had was a quality guitar. Can't knock it. Great action and the sustain was incredible. It just seemed to be so delicate. The Starcaster I have fits me better I think and I really like the style.
Nah, Fender & Squier always beat Gibson & Epiphone...
..unless It was a Casino Elitist, that Is a whole different story. The only thing that worries me Is the glossy neck of the starcaster CV😢

It does have a center block. The guitar is heavier than it looks. The sustain is incredible. Mine was completely set up out of the box.
