I was considering spending the guarantee on Mercuria seeing that many people were giving Joe a bad rate but this helped me stick to my decision to go for him especially with the new game mode in 2.3 it looks like it's going to be a lot of fun to play!
@@Nyttesløshed bad rate cause Joe team comp is slightly different than usual so ppl cannot grasp that you probably won't be disappointed using him. Back when I started CN to pull and test J, he cleared everything for me even though I am less than a month in the CN version
It's so frustrating seeing people completely undersell J's strengths! I have seen people completely dismissing his damage potential and comparing him to Windsong and Lucy... which is not a fair comparison considering those two are fine-tuned to be Raid DPSes. I also see people pointing out that "oh, he's only dealing 4~5k damage per hit. That's not impressive", but they fail to realize he's doing that AN AVERAGE OF 3 TO 4 TIMES PER ROUND. IN AOE. Also seeing as he can semi-sustain while being able to compete with other traditional DPSes not named Windsong/Lucy/Anjo Nala? That should be enough for people to know that he's a good pick! He also gets better with every patch with Lopera in 2.2, and Newbabel (+ potentially Flutterpage) in 2.3 further taking advantage of his counter focused playstyle. The moment we get content where enemies don't stop attacking (kinda like the opera raid), more people will see his value. As always, thank you for pumping out good information on our units. From your Isolde 4-turn finale tips (which, for sure, stopped a lot of people from going for the unnecessary P2), to your Mercuria P0 optimization tips, and now spreading more good info on J, just know that we truly appreciate your hard work. Yes that's the thing they just see raid and decided that Joe is bad cause Windsong and Lucy dominate raids .. but the new content in CN, where the boss hit really hard from the get go and have lots of HP, I think Joe is more useful for that event (not sure what it is called) but his time will come! So ain't gonna miss out on his kit and potential now, after I do more testing I will come out with tips for J And thx for your kind comments at least you I know my hard work is appreciated, and that's good for me. Joe also works very well with Getian, as Getian's ult boosts reality dmg and the shape of bones inflicted from the ult can be constantly triggered with J's reposte. Also, J's P1 isn't worth if you lack def/heal unit unless you're going for his P2 but he still needs unit that can boost his survivability.

Once Newbabel gets her upgrade, I plan on using him with her, Kakania and the 4th would be either 37/Isolde/Semelweiss/Anjo. This is as close as it gets to the good old off-turn damage parties from DFFOO 😂
i have been waiting for this moment & managed to get all present burn team characters. j has always looked like so much fun to play & i am looking forward to picking up lopera & newbabel for him (still entirely unsure where to put flutterpage here though…)
@@roulette_shark haven't tried but with Babel and lopera it should be enough sustain, so just add Flutterpage in.. Joe, Babel, Flutterpage, and lopera ... All of them are AP friendly too, so it will easy to play this team
@@roulette_shark you don't need max burn if you are mainly playing Riposte, you just lose out maybe 10% dmg dealt and 7% atk up, which Lopera/Flutterpage can make up for those lost, his Ult will not hit that much but doesn't matter since his dmg will be from riposte
@@Destr0th his ult is mainly for the burn utility anyway, so that's not much of a loss. i have you to thank for giving me more confidence in my future joe team. definitely going to get him at p1 (did a 10 pull at 0 pity & got 37, so now p0 joe is guaranteed)
J chube is way better, just because it's a better stat stick in terms of atk. You really need every bit of attack to make J's shield hold, especially as his BIS defensive teammates (Lopera and New Babel buff) are still not released
do you think this team is viable? j-semmel-lopera-BP/necro im gonna pull for him cause his play style looks so fun but sadly i do not have his go to teammates isolde/kakania (pulling for lopera bcs she looks so fun as well)
Yes that team is viable and almost the same as my future Joe Semmel team. Necro Will be good option if you already have Lopera in the future. For now until Lopera release you Will need a really good healer So BP/ Tooth fairy if you have Will be a good option. But i need to remind you that Semmel and necro is kinda anti synergy. But if you don't care that it still viable otherwise.
@@freidrichbuco440 without Isolde burn means his Ult will hit for lesser dmg and he gets lesser dmg boost, but that's not a problem since you have Semmelweis that can grant him 80% dmg dealt boost. So this team you prioritize dmg from his Riposte (which is infact, the main contribution for his overall dmg). Then here you have Lopera single target healing with more buffs and Necro for protection against death, honestly I will also try this team :) I been wanting to test Necro + J, nobody really showcase that in Raid (or I haven't found any video on it)
