@@ghost2coast296 Ok. Can't say that makes sense. But, ok. By the way, I did some work for AmstedRail about 3 years ago. They DO NOT assemble the tires and axles before machining. Different companies choosing to do thing differently for whatever their reasons.
when you cut wheels it sucks , red hot metal coming out at you. the locomotive can come off a jack. you have to hook the traction motor to a generator so the wheel can spin. then a Dimond blade is what shaves the wheel. It fucking sucks
Cool video. No coolant splash
Super gelöst! Ich ziehe meinen Hut. Da haben Ingenieure und Techniker gute Arbeit gemacht.

@ 2:20 Why camera change before finish wheel? Ahhh!
What's happening at exactly 1:27? I about jumped out of my chair because SOUND UP
Crazy sound effects.
They show a non-rusty wheel set going in and then a rusted wheel set being worked on and then a completely non-rusted wheel set coming out....hmmmm
Are you not entertained ?? 🙄😬
Not only that, but the axle itself was rusty too!
This video is just weird.
The sound effects too.
@@Ben31337l holy, even the rust was rusty
What tool is used to machine the well profile? Looks like a slanr holder but double sided?
Ist das bei Siemens Graz?
Cool. Could you make me one that's exactly 1/160 the size of that one? I got Mehano pizza cutters to fix and the Dremel is a little fidgety.
By this train tyres bicep curls

Factorio what have you done to my UA-cam recommendations
Vary biggest cnc Mashine
I thought train wheels had steel "tyres" which were removed & new ones pressed on when required ? 😕
Eventually yes but they can be re-profiled a few times first
the great music
Why did UA-cam recommend this video to me?
Adam - because knowledge is key to success🤔 plus now you know how train wheel are resurface 😂😂😂

What good does turning the tires do without also turning the bearing journals in the same operation? Waste of time.
probably ground in another operation, at least that's what I do on large gear shafts

Seems time consuming
