I used to like and trust Brett for news. I left FOX after the 2020 election, but over time, was lured back by Tucker. I left for good last April when they fired Tucker. But I have no use for anyone who doesn't see what is happening to this country. I don't care WHO they are. I went through the exact same thing as you Bret, when my daughter was born. 5 defects of her. They said by the time she was around 11 she would have to have open heart surgery. To make a long story short, she is 33 years old today and never had a open heart surgery. Not a day, as every day, I pray daily for her. THE POWER OF PRAYER. My son, Paul, was also born with a heart defect. We found out at his 6 month old checkup. He had the sugery at 2 yrs old because the operation only had been done ( this was 1970) one or two times. They couldn’t fo it when he was only 6 months. I remember how scary it was and how waiting for 2 years to get the surgery was so hard. It was a matter of one of his heart arteris going into to the wrong chamber of his heart. They had to build a new chamber. Finally when he was 2, they went ahead with the surgery. I was only 22 years old and my husband was 24. I understand what Bret and his wife went through. The surgery was sucessful and he’s fine! Im so glad Bret’s son is fine too. God is good

My son was born with heart defect had to have surgery at 12 days old. He was 8lb 4 oz but was not able to make it through the 72 hrs after surgery. He died at q4 days old. It was the hardest thing to go through. Glad his son is OK. Only the best for them. I do not agree with his views at all.

@@SurferBoye3000 I’ve been scared to post anything because of the hatred that is being written about the video. OK, maybe he is a RINO; is that a reason to hate him? Maybe he called the election too early; is that a reason to hate him? Even if he is left leaning, is that a reason to hate him? I see a man trying to report the news. I sometimes wonder if President Reagan was still alive, he would be accused of being a RINO. I get worried for our country with all of this hate. I’m sure if this read by some of the others, I will be hated too.
He is not the only one. I had same with my grandson at his birth (2 heart surgeries in 2 weeks) and there are many, many parents out there that has had the same scary experience and they didn’t get the special treatment on tv as Bret got. Hey Bret, how do you like Biden now??

When he announced Biden the winner before the votes were counted, I never watched Fox news again. I went to Newsmax. I miss some of the people at Fox very much.

I was watching when Fox started, Brett to me was the true Fair and Balanced at that time still is. I have gotten away from Fox New because I saw the changes in how the new heads at Fox became less about Fair and Balanced and more leftist learning. They will fire you if you don't tow the line. This to me ties the hands of real Journalists. Yes I get you can't lie or take sides to the point of telling people who to vote for and who not to vote for but beyond these boundaries let the truth get out to the people, to me Fox no longer does this. My son was born with heart defect had to have surgery at 12 days old. He was 8lb 4 oz but was not able to make it through the 72 hrs after surgery. He died at q4 days old. It was the hardest thing to go through. Glad his son is OK. Only the best for them. I do not agree with his views at all.

He's for Trump. He's a real journalist and people don't know what that is anymore. He's the epitome of fair and balanced. His problem is making that poor decision about Arizona. Don't know why. I do believe he does his best to show neutrality as real journalists are trained to do. His isn't an opinion show, like Hannity or even Jesse. He's an anchor who's supposed to report the news. It's rare to see that today, so rare, that people are complaining he's woke.
It was on his show in 2020 where Arizona was called for Biden by a guest, only about an hour after the voting was closed. It was way too early in the night to make that call.
Feel bad for his ordeal with his son. Outside of that, he's a closet liberal whom I don't take seriously.

Brett Bear is one of those people who I will probably never meet, but he radiates kindness and a goodness. He has a dedication to truth in journalism, which I admire. Journalism was an option for me in the early 1970s, but I could not bring myself to commit to it, as times were quickly taking a dark turn in that field. I made the right decision because I cannot lie from a script or write an article with a deceiving slant, and I didn’t want to go from job to job trying to find the right fit for me. God bless.
