I've loved every second of this challenge and I yhink it's soooooooooooooooo cool that you're giving your jeep to a subscriber. I'm new to jeeps and crawlers, but I would absolutely LOVE to own your jeep. Your fab skills are amazing!
The ZJ definitely won. They dinged you first for not running it as clean on the first run. They didn't ding him for all the retries on the last hill. No doubt the ZJ won. It's about time the ZJ is given the credit it has long deserved. All around coil springs have been making the difference since 1993. The XJ has never been the better offroader because of the leaf springs in the back PLUS the lack of available V8's.
You don't think that Matt may have edited out a "few" of his tries? The last hill was an all or nothing hill....had nothing to do with what happened before that. When Matt ran a trail cleaner we gave Matt a letter just like we did with Matt
Great battle. I'm not sure about all the accusations of cheating. I man and a poor build has got to do what a man has got to do. And that's the bottom line. We all have been there at times. Jeeps and Jeep parts are expensive. And never hurts to get help or parts from your friends if they have them available. Thanks for sharing 👍 Thanks to the judges for great commentary.

Your ZJ has far better articulation than the XJ, and you have more rocker panel clearance. Especially with those nice custom steel sliders that you made. Don't feel bad buddy, you did a awesome job as usual. 👍
Man... that was absolutely frustrating... and I'm not even biased! I am a WJ guy through and through! and that being said I'm always on "D&E in the garage" but at least you handled their bias well (probably because you are secretly rooting for that XJ 😂
Great series but parts cost and labor would be more than 5k on each rig, not even counting buying the Jeep. That being said I loved it! Shows you don't have to have a 50k JK or buggy on 42's to do some serious trail riding.
To me these rules are geared to who is this best driver rather than which jeep is the most capable. You play follow the leader and it becomes a driver competition. A better contest would be build a rig and have a third-party drive them both in a coarse to test the rigs capabilities. Give the keys to Ian Johnson and see if he can take each rig through a timed coarse. That eliminates the driver factor IMO.
Matt thanks for always staying motivated... Gonnna take my boys up here in Alaska and attempt the the same shenanigans bout on glaciers.. before and PCS to Fort Campbell.. Don’t have a pull apart up here but we will make it work... Thanks for all the videos..... Keep it up
You did that last line better then busted knuckle he did the first line better and you collected a point for it so I think you're rig was more capable but regardless it was an awesome series and I cant wait for you to get back to that jeep truck thing
Loving this oh, no matter what the outcome. however if I was put in your shoes my brother I would absolutely have spent every penny on suspension and left the axles Factory because if you're really going to break an axle on the trail then so be it but I have beat the hell out of them and they stayed true so I figure take the one advantage you have of four wheel coil spring and put it to your advantage since he has the advantage on weight. And I also would have done as much weight reduction on the ZJ as possible
The first line was kind of cheap win. That first little bit of rocks the zj went far right where it was sort rutted out and the xj got over top of it early which left him with a better approach angle on the last spot the zj about flipped on
I have to say both jeeps are pretty awesome. But one was truly built and one was bolt on. And brother you was robbed. That ZJ and your resourcefulness was above and beyond. It was so good my 5 years want me to build one. Lol. Keep it up brother

Loving this can’t wait till the second episode.
Keep the videos coming these are a blast to watch!
RIP to extreme off-road. All those sick projects I wanted to see finished like the 6 by and the lifted lawn truck just gone in a flash.
I’d love to end up with the ZJ. I have a 00’ 2dr XJ now that I’m trying to get trail ready. Great vid!
Better off with the XJ.
Either way, I won’t be getting rid of the XJ.
Great series but parts cost and labor would be more than 5k on each rig, not even counting buying the Jeep. That being said I loved it! Shows you don't have to have a 50k JK or buggy on 42's to do some serious trail riding.
So wish my ZJ looked like yours😭😭 one day piece by piece ill get there
Matt always seem to be playing the poker jedi mind tricks with the Busted Knucleheads!
Awesome XJ vs ZJ 🤙
Great contest. I absolutely love the whole production!
Thanks a bunch!
Man what some awesome stuff!! Been waiting on these videos!!
Love the challenge. You guys really look like you’re having fun with this. Inspired me to try the same. 👍
I love this build series man keep it up!!!
I work with line X from Milroy and would to on getting one of your Jeep in line-x ultra
Awesome episode. Thanks!
Great series, just a shame you couldn't get a V8 ZJ because that's the number one reason to get a ZJ.
Looked like a clear victory for bleepinjeep...🤷♂️
Keep it up
Thanks guys!
You did that last line better then busted knuckle he did the first line better and you collected a point for it so I think you're rig was more capable but regardless it was an awesome series and I cant wait for you to get back to that jeep truck thing
he totally shoulda got another letter for sure!
Looks like y'all had a lot of fun. It made for a great video and was very entertaining. Keep enjoying life guys.
thanks! did you see part 2? its up!
Porque esse vídeo tá na playlist do Sobrevivencialismo? Kkkkkkkk
Também estou me perguntando isso kkkkkkkk
Such an awesome challenge and it is indeed pretty damn impressive what a moderately built rig will do.
Hey! Perhaps a little off topic but Adams Driveshaft or Rough Country driveshaft for an XJ?
Loving this oh, no matter what the outcome. however if I was put in your shoes my brother I would absolutely have spent every penny on suspension and left the axles Factory because if you're really going to break an axle on the trail then so be it but I have beat the hell out of them and they stayed true so I figure take the one advantage you have of four wheel coil spring and put it to your advantage since he has the advantage on weight. And I also would have done as much weight reduction on the ZJ as possible
great job! I love your channel! you got this win! I love tekton tools!
Great challenge to watch.
sweet. been waiting for this. no dissapointment, good gob bj
More to come!
Great content as always and keep it coming!!!
More to come!
hmm,, would have better to do XJ vs XJ. still cool though
I just built a 96 grand cherokee minus tire because those haven't came yet for about $1200 I got the jeep and lift with diffs and all for about $700
I dig how you wrote your build on the hood tho 🤔 that's gonna be a thing! Definitely doing that to mine lol
The first line was kind of cheap win. That first little bit of rocks the zj went far right where it was sort rutted out and the xj got over top of it early which left him with a better approach angle on the last spot the zj about flipped on
Great Video guys
I have to say both jeeps are pretty awesome. But one was truly built and one was bolt on. And brother you was robbed. That ZJ and your resourcefulness was above and beyond. It was so good my 5 years want me to build one. Lol. Keep it up brother
Build one, I laid it all out in the last episodes!!
@@bleepinjeep That you did. They all said naw it wont make it. And you was like yeah it will. And it did. Heck yeah
IAN LOOKS LIKE AN OLDER ,DIDN'T AGE TOO WELL INCREDIBOY
That is hilarious!
Long arms front and rear on a ZJ beats an XJ every time. That's been my experience.
