What strap would be used for 3/4 FMC? The only strap I found is 3/8 for FMC.

What size screw or nail should I use in a light weight pvc conduit clamp?
I’m screws them along the middle of the face of a floor joist and am worried about splitting the lumber

What fastener would you use for the 1/2" and 3/4" one hole EMT strap? I'm going into metal (metal building)... really hard to find this info for some reason... I see some ppl on forums saying the #10 self tapping screws are a bit small for the hole but no one suggests a better option!
What size DOESNT fit? (#12, #14...) I'll just go one size under that.
    Thanks to anyone!

Zinc plated toggle bolt w/washer. Mark and drill hole large enough for toggle to slip into.
Insert bolt through EMT strap hole, add washer large enough to cover your hole in sheet metal, screw on wing piece, then push it through hole. Pull back and allow the wing to draw the bolt and EMT strap together until tight.

HW stand for heavy wall is for rigid IMC aluminum but not for Rob Roy. Unistrut straps or Kindle straps as you call them are not Universal unless they're stamp Universal there either rigid or EMT

In CT we call the stand off strap a “minerallac” or “mini”, I think it’s a manufacturer name. What do you call the anti shorts for mc? We call them “red heads” but I also have heard Red Devils here. It’s cool how all over the US we all have different names for the same material.

I was introduced to them as "red devils", and I've heard people call them "red heads." I never liked those terms, so I call them what they are.. anti-shorts.

Hi! I am trying to secure 4 vertically zip- tied closetmaid shelves together (I am told it is very sturdy)
to a piece of plywood with casters. The lowest rung on the Shelf is exactly 1/2 inch from the piece of plywood. I'm thinking of using the two hole EMT strap. Is a 1/2 inch strap 1/2 inch tall or 1/2 in long? Do you have any suggestions for me?

I think I've seen something like this board before...But wait a moment...What does it resemble? Oh, yea, they have a similar one in the local electric store.
