This project was a rollercoaster!!! but after a while I finally made something that I’m super happy about!!!

Happy birthday! Love your videos so much. It's always such an obstacle looking at a "finished" work, feeling dissatisfied, and thinking about the "wasted" time/effort if I were to take it apart. I remember watching your balaclava video where you had to frog a part of it because you didn't like the fit and I thought, "Jeez, I would just give up" lol. Appreciate you showing the entire process and explaining your thoughts/feelings throughout the make. I also have a cardigan I need to just frog and redo, so here's to us getting around to it soon!
But in the end you learn something! I keep a project book where i write down everything! So in the future i can look back and see where i went wrong or how i made something i liked😊
Love the colours of your cardy, it was well worth you re-making it. Those buttons are so retro , my dad used to have a cardy with those buttons, love them.😁
It is an amazing cardigan. It's so satisfying when something turns out so well. Gorgeous autumnal colours.
Also I wonder if the car park phenomenon has a name. I notice things like that too. Lol

This turned out so cozy looking! Good on you for persevering! We put a lot of work into our crafts, but if we treat them TOO preciously, it's hard to really be happy with them, and that's more of a waste than spending the extra time to turn it into something we love.
Also, as someone who has been wanting to make sweaters but mostly only manages to knit and crochet rectangular things, I'm so happy that you've added to my rectangle sweater inspiration pile! And I don't even have to practice my granny squares first!

I've got a collection of vintage books, and there's a few rectangle patterns in there that I'm eager to try, but the more ideas the better!

I know it was a lot- but it was well worth it! it looks amazing- so can you tell me how many panels you used for arm, front, back- I can't count fast enough with movements for each part of sweater! Id love to try it
