    1 in 8 people receive an endorphin rush where alcohol acts like a powerful stimulant and floods us with endorphins. I am one such person and had to force myself to quit after years of alcoholism.
    This is why normal people will say silly crap like: “Ugh, I can’t drink anymore, I’m starting to feel it.” But guys like me, once we start to feel it, we reach for another drink, go off on adventures, and wake up in strange places.
    This is also why the other alcoholic in the comments is defending their two glasses of wine each night. It floods the brain with endorphins and makes them feel great. Addiction, man. 19 months sober today. Thank you, Paul.

    • @tommyjones1357
      @tommyjones1357 Рік тому +7

      A lot of people don’t understand how it can be addicting. But I’m telling ya man, I have that first drink and it’s like ripping a line of coke. LET’S GO!
      But now that I understand that most people don’t get a rush from alcohol, it finally makes sense why there’s so many lamers out there who can’t keep up with me. On the contrast: it explains why I’m the only drunk adult at a 5 year olds birthday party. Lmao
      We’ll never be social drinkers. Because social drinkers aren’t fighting an endorphin rush that makes you feel awesome that obscures the negative affects.

      Yea it's weird how its downer but it can keep you awake all night doing crazy shit like a stimulant but of course you don't remember shit. I haven't drank in 12 years but the first 5 years my chest would still get warm when ever I saw a bottle of liquor. It gets easier with time. But never get cocky .

      Some of us consume beer and wine as nutritious/healthy caloric beverages in moderation. Not for 'social drinking' or over consumption / excess. The reason is: water isn't better all the time, sugar drinks are not healthy (per results), and drinks such as a Gatorade aren't as healthy as beer and wine. It's a matter of performance,.. how our bodies perform. Moderation.

      I'm big into beer although working hard to cut back on them, I do agree somewhat with Robert. I really appreciate a good beer or two, in moderation it does enhance my life to the certain extent that it is for me a very enjoyable experience. I love the taste of beer more so than the feeling of alcohol yet the alcohol itself is crucial to the overall flavor. Love the Belgium Trappist beer and the sweet malts they use. And for me its just like old European tradition. Now you have all the German and Belgium Christmas beer, that are dark in color have more a spicy dark fruits taste to them, just feels like Christmas drinking them. On top of that I recently had my first bottle of mead and it was pretty special. Then you have the wild saison and lambic beers that ae brewed in coolships geting all the natural yeast and bugs from the environment and honestly some of those beers like like a health tonic drinking them compared to lager or big processed macro brands.

To honor her every year on the anniversary of her death, May 23, I make a healthy change in my habits or make a purchase that will push me towards better health. One year I bought a fitbit, another year was my first $100 walking shoes - which I promptly wore out in 6 months! May 23 of 2018 I started intermittent fasting, now I'm carnivore. I am sure if your brother could speak to you right now he'd probably beg you to not honor him by following in his poor choices/example. I hope this helps. 💞 I've got a solid rock in Jesus Christ to lean on and He has carried me through many difficulties. He's there for you too. God bless! 💞

    If I was able to have a carefree rich life in the Bahamas where I can do weird fun sports all day and so on maybe I wouldn't need alcohol but if you have a stressful 9 to 5 job somwhere in the north where everything is shitty half of the year you kinda need a drink sometimes. Health is not everything and sometimes having fun and exciting 70 years of life is better than 85 sober boring years.

      Beer, wine, & liquor, in moderation as desired, work great for me, on the basic matter of body-health / physical integrity, not about social issues. Not for overdoing, as with anything good. (not imperial stouts, except in tiny amounts, as with liquor, and easy does it on the beer and wine also,…. with prudence alcoholic beverages of good quality are excellent for my health,… and people in general).
      Btw, pork which isn't cured or vinegar-soaked-marinated, is not prime food for me, it reduces my groin-area-functioning, drastically. When pork is cured, it should be cured by 'whole spectrum' nitrates/nitrates, such as celery powder. Isolated nitrates/nitrates majorly reduce the healthyness of pork, in how the pork affects our blood flow,…. 'down there'.
      Also, non truly raw dairy isn't good for me for similar reasons, besides other gunk factor affects/effects.

      @@MDaDonLegacy people can have the same opinions and reach the same conclusions independently. They can also advocate for the same thing. Even if other things going on in their lives they may disagree with completely. Its called common ground and pushing for the better good. That does not necessarily make someone a fraud. Sure liver king was a lying POS, but you could tell that from the very beginning. I like Paul because independently I came to the same conclusions as the did about the optimal human diet. I only eat meat, milk products, fruit, honey, eggs. I also enjoy tea, and a glass of wine on occasion (where i disagree with Paul). But, that is my own choice because after not consuming caffeine in 1 year 3 months, I decided to see if tea was beneficial for me like I remember it being, and it was. I like how tea makes me feel so I'm going to consume it in moderation. But to call him a fraud is unfounded. I personally like his vlogs because he present article which I THEN GO READ MYSELF. Developed a throat infection, colon infection, had fungus growing on my skin, was constipated, and had electrolyte issues that almost destroyed my kidneys from just eating beef and butter. Turns out because I was also doing hard working out I was very malnourished. Beef takes so long to digest so my 2 meals a day were not enough. Also, iron slows digestion. To get me back on track i drank a shot or two every night of whiskey, drank electrolytes (pure organic coconut water worked out best). After about 2 weeks I stopped drinking whiskey. I took a long break from beef. I added carbs (bread and potatoes for example), raw dairy, fish stew, normal (non-psychotic diet) food. Lo and behold my digestion normalized. I eat way less beef ( one or two meals with beef a week), way more raw dairy, less fruit, more honey, oat meal, french dip sandwiches, fish sandwiches, chicken burritos etc. Gained like 10 pounds. I've been trying to gain more weight, but I fluctuate from to 10 to 15 pounds of my initial sickly-weight.

The reason is: water isn't better all the time, sugar drinks are not healthy (per results), and drinks such as a Gatorade aren't as healthy as beer and wine. It's a matter of performance,.. how our bodies perform. Moderation. I rarely drink wine. Beer is an almost daily staple, in moderation.
