Just whatever you do don't bother with the skyrim beautification project. I spent all of last saturday downloading everything for it (except all the weird anime character tit wobble bullshit. SKYRIM IS FOR THE NORDS DAMNIT) and it runs like ass. Do it like this video and it looks arguably better and takes about 20 minutes. Then get all the content you want and tweak effects here and there.

All these old school beautification systems are no longer relevant because SSE itself is an improvement. The right ENB, SMIM, ELFX, SFO, verdant, and you're good to go.
Also stay away from using too many retex mods, it starts looking inconsistent and anything over 2k just kills your performance.
But Skyrim chix look awful, so UNP is a must, plus Warmaidens mod.

I'm writing in 2020 and well, i still have shadow bugs, bodies into the walls/ground, horse that can climbs vertical walls like spiderman, and hundreds more. Still no bugs fix.

Yeah, got a 1080 myself, I loved modding out SE. Open Cities even runs way better on the new version, though I may end up removing it due to how many conflicts it has.
Also, who else does this? You start modding Skyrim, and you go from 100% actually playing the game to, like 60% fiddling with mods, 30% walking around aimlessly admiring the graphics and staring at fucking dirt, and 10% actually playing XD
I quickly went to 100% fiddling with mods for like a year until I realized I didn't play anymore and moved on hahaha

I force myself to play it. Never finished fallout 3, new vegas, skyrim or fallout 4 because of damn modding lol. Now I am trying to actually finish skyrim and fallout 4. Though modding is indeed taking up the bigger chunk of my time than playing is.
I've modded Skyrim from 2014-2016. Never beat the entire game cause for some reason I usually start a new game after level 60.
Now I've moved on to Fallout 4 and I wish mods could change the shitty main story.

The thing I wish for the most in the next TES or Fallout game is a feature that changes dialog depending on my reputation.
For instance at the begining of the game thugs and thieves talk down to you, but after progressing and becoming strong they will (at least sometimes) show fear.
I am sick of punks talking trash to me and acting like I didn't just single handedly tear a giant dragon or behemoth a new one.
Well, you have Fallout New Vegas which sorta comes close to that.
Its the thing which makes me stop playing Skyrim/Fallout most of the time. Especially Skyrim when I walk arround in some glowing Deadra Armor and this guy in his rags talks down on me, like bitch if I sell my left glove I could buy your whole damn family for 2 generations.

Use coco butter when you get out of the shower. Turn the water as cold as you can at the end of your shower for 30 seconds for testosterone boost and pour closer. Use a face scrub to clean your face every night before bed and use cold water to wash it off and then put coco butter on your face.
If you have shitty skin (acne) get on accutane ASAP. Start lifting even if you are fat as fuck. If you are fat get on Keto to cut while lifting. Also do not tan if you are white you will age like fuck.

The comment about tanning was pretty much the only thing you said that was correct.
1) Testosterone is directly linked to male pattern baldness. If you have too much, the body converts it to dihydrotestosterone which destroys hair follicles on the scalp. High Testosterone levels do not equate to a stronger sex drive.
2) Accutane is merely concentrated vitamin A and is not guaranteed to prevent acne. It is available only on prescription. It reduces the amount of oil produced by the skin and is known to have severe side effects in some people (including blistering, diarrhea and depression). Benzoyl peroxide is far more effective and available without prescription.
3) Lifting is ineffective without the diet and life style to compliment it. Some of the strongest men in the world are also extremely tubby (the guys who pull trucks for example).
4) The ketogenic diet is controversial is know to cause side effects including Tachycardia.
There are no shortcuts for looking good. It's hard work and can only be achieved by living a healthy balanced lifestyle. You are welcome.
And don't forget to add SSL to Skyrim for another "testosterone boost" and to make Skyrim even more immersive. Don't know what 'SSL' is? Look it up.

I Personally use the Rudy ENB, as I personally think it looks more realistic, and less fruity. I would also like to add the "Rustic Clothing" mod, which GREATLY enhances the textures of all clothing in Skyrim to look bounds beyond what they looked to be in the original. Highly recommend!

For grass mode you can also use Veydosebrom. This mod is incredible. If i remember correctly it uses grasses and things from SFO and Verdant.

Own a PC
One of the reasons I switched to PC.
You can do that with PC. I simply turn on my PC, plug in my Xbox One controller and play.
PC is pretty plug in and play tho, you just have to install Steam install the game, easy, turn on the PC, wait for Steam to load (my PC is shit and it's ready in about 5 secs) and play the game, anyway you can't deny that PC's are superior.

How to make Skyrim looks nextgen: don't use SE and mod original Skyrim :
original skyrim it crush alot with 100 mods you run... while SE run smoothly, you can even alt tab without crushing the game...
John Paul Pineda SE can't use anything that requires SKSE or SkyUI. That alone makes original Skyrim better than SE. If your original Skyrim is crashing with high mod counts you should probably make sure you've stabilized Skyrim first and have the correct mod load order. I'm running 120+ mods with 0 problems.
i know ther is no skyui and skse yet... 100 mods run but it would still lags to some bigger mods like weathers and graphic in the original which is more smoothly in SE, all the bigger mods i have run more smoothly in SE... having many mods in original not all of them gonna activate the same time u have to move them up to ur manager in order to some of them to activate again which is annoying when u have a hundreds of mods... im hoping skse and skyui would be available in in SE everything would had been easier...
se will need some time to reach moded skyrim until now only popular mods had beem ported the majority of cloth and weapons mods that are based of other games and series will never be ported only for this reason I stick with original. SE was only good to replay the game without mods
I have a PC that can run original Skyrim pretty well, even with some ENBs, while SE runs horribly even on lowest possible settings...

I think it's nice. I know it's not how Skyrim is supposed to look, but... i don't really care. I want it to look as pleasing to my eyes as possible. I love ENBs that make the game bright and the colors vivid.

sepehrKh khadem and ps4 got the shittiest choice of skyrim mods. As we only get a 100 mod limit, and the mod sizes itself have to be extremely small, with the biggest mod I've seen being around 18 mbs.
Save up for a gaming pc, even if you have to do it slowly. Also, the more time you put into to researching what kind of computer to build and what parts to buy, the more money you will save. Don't ever buy Alienware.

I don't have a proper gaming computer, just a Windows partition on my iMac, so I sadly don't have enough space to use lots of mods- out of these I just have Vivid Weathers, and it is amazing. When I started my new game, I was walking along the roads and it came to night and a huge storm came along and I just stood there and listened to it for a while, it was incredible 🤩

The lighting looks shit, super unrealistic and overly bright. Its like looking at the world through a rainbow. Might as well be pokemon with this much color. Textures look great though! Maybe use skyland

All these mods are gay, if you really want to enhance your game you need to download the Thomas the Tank Engime retexture of Alduin and the Randy Savage Macho Man retexture for the rest of the dragons.

I recently decided to take the plunge and play SE because of stability issues. I have a 1080 ti and there are way too many CTDs on the 32 bit game. The problem is that many mods are lacking and the beloved SKSE...
One that you didn't mention and is crucial for distant terrain is skyfalls and skymills, it makes it so that the waterfalls don't go all blocky when they're 8 feet away and it enhances the mills as well
Skyrim Real Clouds is also a really nice visual for the skies. It adds actual clouds to the game. Not just the skybox, but a meshed (think fog) model. So basically you can look in the distance and see a thunderstorm approaching. And if you're into flying you can go inside the clouds as well
Surprised he didn't mention DynDOLOD. Definitely a must have in my book, adds more and detailed distant objects. Becomes really fun to toggle free cam and see how far you can go and still tell where you are exactly.

Just as a little thing incase people read the comments after checking the description, the Enhanced Lighting and FX mod and most of its plugins are also available on Xbox one now! Definitely look it up if you want a good lighting mod

I highly recommend NVT ENB it is amazing. Literally does shadow toning like its real life. Id say it looks better than real life. While I have not tried all I have tried other ENBs including the one in this video but they haven’t compared. NVT allows to to alter anything and everything lighting/color related in its menu and there’s a version for each of the major weather mods.
Even 7 years after his release, Skyrim still fucking awesome (with mods of course)
