Please post more nuggets n quick solution for footage problems to be smartly solve by nuke. These i hv never seen in most nuke courses or yt.only a guy deep in production would have even idea of edge cases like this.. Good stuff. Please bring on more.
Thanks for the video 🙏, so my question is that remove the jitter with the option of the traker node, it's the same of removin with filter in the curve and the method of the expression? Or it means that any of this is more effective?
Hi @nicolascabrera, as i understand, both method removes jitter but take slight different approach. tracker 'jitter remove' takes jitter period in count to average the tracking data & its average subsequently that much frame number what jitter period number suggests. whereas removing through filter takes whole tracking data in count & average whole range which gives more smooth en result. if the purpose is mimicking original path while smoothing, then tracker remove jitter would more near by, but some times its still feels jerky if the jerk frame is 11th frame then average will go to next chunk of frames as suppose if jitter period is 10 its average every 10 frame tracking data. i hope its helpful. thank you for stopping by.
Useful tutorial. Thanks
