    This was amazing! He gave all 3 phases of his 15-minute warm-ups starting at regression (Phase 1), base (Phase 2), and progression (Phase 3) within 50 minutes. A lot of people don't realize how difficult it is to squeeze this much information within this short of a time window. His attitude and jokes were also amusing to watch and made this 50-minute video feel like 15 minutes.

    It says in the powerpoint at the beginning, this warm up is done in 15 minutes. How the heck do consolidate this entire 50 minute warmup in 15 minutes???

      Everything should be done quickly with no or very little rest between drills/exercise. 15-20 mins it can be done

      Nsca is very pro athlete oriented, 30 min warm up is very normal for pro athletes

      He also went through all phases of each movement as he would progress them.

      Warm Up is 15 Minutes. This is 3 separate phases to progress athletes.

    Programming improper motor patterning 01:25? Yeah, go and correct 90% of NBA players and weightlifters? Put the band around the knees and solve the problem...

    Why are the girls getting made fun of by the boys? I was very excited when you began the warm up with a focus on diaphragmatic breathing but couldn't watch any further after that comment.
    Very disappointed

    must be sad to give a lecture on warming up for pro athletes and un fit old ladies show up

    • @NSCAstrong
      @NSCAstrong  3 роки тому +13

      The lecture was for coaches/trainers, not for the athletes themselves. I don't think anyone was disappointed in the caliber of coaches who showed up.
