I love the way this eagle seems to know his own strength. He pecks his owner as a form of play, but never enough to cause injury. I don't think he's jealous of his wife - she's a vet, she treated him when he was sick, which probably involved giving him a lot of shots, he just associates her with unpleasant & maybe painful injections.. If she approaches him, he thinks she might be getting ready to give him another one.
Dirty pool water!give them fresh water!!lol luv the Harpy,my dad raced pigeons then he raised doves,now her releases doves at weddings funerals,events,and 3 months out of the year in winter,he don't release them bc of hawk season,another amazing bird.so I am a bird girl lol
I respect the fact that filming wildlife can be tough sometimes, but nature is not "hostile" ...... and anyone who had been in a hostile environment knows exactly what I mean

I'm guessing if this is a legal bird of prey to keep as a pet, any bird of prey is a potential pet. My dream of a pet Secretary Bird is still a possibility.

You sir have my respects, you have a chance to work with a bird I was dreaming since I was a little boy, people say such a bird is impossible to be used for falconeering, well I'm glad its been proven wrong, But you should really consider breeding them for Karen tuning, then release them into the wild, you will be considered a national hero,
Rita Raju actually you can blame some of the bird. Some birds make better falconry birds then others just like people we all have a different disposition. You can be a great falconer and have a bad birds or have an amazing bird and be a shitty falconer. Not every bird is great just like not every person is good hearted.
