Very useful tutorial - I like the soft shading with subtle details. I find myself coming back to this tutorial when I need to shade vegetation and such. The trunk is especially detailed.
Really helped me up with this one. Was struggling with environmental arts for a long time. Gonna have an animated artwork similar to this one's style for my next music release
Cool video! I noticed at 0:20 when you are painting the clouds, you use a brush that doesn't look like the hard round. Is that a setting for the hard round?
He has several full in-depth tutoriasl about how he makes these :D You can find them on his blog/homepage: www.mclelun.com/p/tutorial.html As a beginner it would be useful to do studies of photos, real life, etc. to get into the mindset of a painter.
Are you using the smoothing function on the round brush as you paint? Or the mixer brush? I can't seem to get that smooth and soft a look with the mixer brush whenever I use it, but then I'm still trying to learn the program.
My understanding of depth and values is really holding me back

Everything about this was amazing, even the sound tracks, thank you very much for sharing.

Hey um...Can you do a tutorial on how to Paint trees??Nice time lapse painting BTW.
You can actually learn that through its timelapse. Or you can go to the channel itself
You should visit his blog!
@Meh meth you can change slow from setting to 0.5 slow
He or she avoid all the to explain everything , don't know why but I request manny time but she totally avoid to explain all viewers .
Is there any one layer tree painting without any textures? Feels like I really need textures at this point
I will need to practice a lot to do something like your. Good job 👏❤️
Oh WOW ! Mint - Love it
Thank you for the very educational speedpainting.

Proof that the brush doesn't make the artist.
Love the backing track!

So helpfull, it's like ghibli style😍 i love it
Every-time I watch your videos I think "Ah looks doable." Every-time I am so wrong. Great paintings though!

I always forget you use scattering and other techniques in these lol. Very well done regardless though 🤙🏽
Even windows XP is amazed.
love love love your art !! 💙💙💙
So what i learned from this vid is that smudge is your best friend
Great video! I'm interested to know more about the technique used at 0:44 to shade the clouds? End result looks fantastic!
You can use "preserve / protect transparency" option or clipping mask so you doesnt paint the "outside" area
I love your paint❤
Absof*king amazing

@@YVZSTUDIOS he never answer by himself ?? 🙄😒
Dope,👌
Can I ask what brush did you used in clouds?
Normal circle brush with alot of optimizing in the brush presets mainly scattering, size jitter, and opacity jitter i suppose
@@lydaz3562 I'm always confused on what jitter is, can you explain it to me? :D

you can use smudge tool to blend colour
Not me watching to get tips on how to make anime backgrounds:
nice)
whats the brush
How to blur in photoshop ??
What ps you were using to make thisss!!!!!
why u can paint while layer is locking ?
it is preserve layer transparency option, not lock
Can I use this as a background of my drawing ?
Try to learn how to draw or paint backgrounds and then use them as your own
can you do a real-time painting video please? I'm having a hard time keeping up.
Just slow down the video on youtube x0.25
U didn't use round brush only u used the tool for the leaves!!
cries in untalented
Motivation to keep getting better tho
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
nice too watch but difficult to use as a tutorial.
Sorry to hear that. I will redo a real time painting tutorial using round brush in the future
Bro everything is so quick... couldn't follow
first step: be talented in drawing i guess
First step Learn how to start drawing
so cool😭😬😬
My paintings still look flat and fake even while using multiple brushes...
Anime studios need to hire you for their background on animes. our work is so cool. you'd do a good work on Ghibli's Studios tho
SLOW DOWN
First;)
Your tutorial is very fast , i did not like this
I think it's a lack of talent for me :(
