I’m an old fart who started learning Aikido in the late 1960’s. I’ve had the honor of being uke for for Doshu Kisshomaru, Yamada Sensei, Chiba Sensei, Saito Sensei, Nishio Sensei, Doshu Moriteru, and others my old brain can’t remember. I was always impressed by how their other budo training influenced their styles of Aikido.
